I still believe Teen unlocked his power on his darkest hour as the Title says: Darkest Hour/ Wake Thy Power. He was particularly close to Alice and got angry at everyone: Agatha killing Alice, Jen being apathetic to Alice's death and Lilia just accept everything that why he tossed all of the on the mud quicksand as he deemed all of them unworthy of the road as they were not acting like a coven but every witch for themselves which I empathize. Im pretty sure they're all alive in the next episode. Also Rio was unseen because she was probably collecting Alice's bodies as that's what she wants.

Exactly my thoughts! I think it also speaks for Jen and Lilia's ways of dealing with things, to distance themselves (Jen) and to accept it (coz I get the feeling Lilia has seen a lot of her friends/family die over the centuries). Don't know if that's intentional by the writers or if I'm projecting. And yes about Rio! I think she'll come get them out of the mud or quicksand or whatever it is in the next ep.

Probably from the comics. Bc in the comics Nicholas is like the leader of the Salem 7 & hates Agatha. Not a victim & it’s unclear if he’s actually a victim in this show. We’re just led to believe that. We’ve seen no actual proof though. I think she was tricked or something. No way she’s still upset over it hundreds of years later if it was purposeful. I believe that’s his hair in her locket too. So I highly doubt she willingly traded him or whatever.

That has to be Agatha's curse: She just naturally takes other witches' power. There is no drive. She just consumes. Perhaps it came as a curse when she sold her soul to Mephisto to gain power. She then tried to form a pact with Death herself (at this point there's a 90% chance that's who Rio is) to gain the Darkhold to fight him, only for Death to claim her son in exchange. Wanda was never part of her plan. Too many writers tried to be unpredictable and somehow managed to think that "subverting the expectations" was a good thing. It means to undermine and hollow out. There was never anything good about it. There is nothing wrong about it if the audience can not only follow your story but parts of them can draw conclusions of their own as long as you manage to keep everyone who doesn't up to speed and deliver the best version of that story.

It'll make me happy, sure, but I want more of how they will connect this emotionally. I've been reading a lot of Brandon Sanderson lately and he does this thing where he delivers on what he's promised and we've deduced, but make it better somehow - either by extrapolating the story beats in a way we haven't thought of, or adding an emotional beat to it. This was what I was going for when I said I hope they do more. I will still be very happy if what we have predicted comes true and nothing else! But I do think you're right in saying nowadays people do unpredictable stuff just for the sake of it and that's not very good :)

Guys, your channel is one of my daily constants, i leave a like on almost every video and I enjoy the work you do, but I gotta say the spoiler in the thumbnail thing isn't great. Sometimes i'm just browsing my subscriptions feed to see what's new and then bam a spoiler. I understand the youtube game ain't pretty and you have to drive traffic and get clicks but putting the literal last shot of the episode, the one the whole episode builds up to, in a thumbnail when the episode hasn't been out for up to 24 hours just isn't the best in my opinion. I used to love everything that Greg and Coy do, but now it seems that only John talks sense. Can’t get through these reactions without them two making fun of it. @@kaychallis6411 Upon rewatching, I do think he lost faith in the coven and was angered because Agatha seemingly turned on Alice (I think she was being honest tho when she said she can't actually control it ), and that none of the witches would support Agatha during her trial when Agatha, despite being evil-ish, helped the others during theirs. They were being tested when Evanora demanded they leave Agatha, and failed as a coven for not having their coven member's back. Only Rio and Wiccan stood by her.

Guys the shows told us that Nicholas scratch is Agatha’s son (very similar to his comic origin). He’s not pretending to be the mom, she was actually there and tied to the trial. Nicholas Scratch was trying to stop his mom from killing Alice which was tied to momma Harkness trying to take over Agatha’s body. At the end Billy used mind control to have the other two get rid of Agatha because she’d just drain his power if he used magic. Then he released them from mind control and blasted them back. While he’s powerful, he probably doesn’t have full control thus Agatha mentioning his mother probably sparking it.

I honestly don’t think Agatha meant to steal the powers. But once she saw how she was still being blamed and no one would listen especially teen who she felt a bond with, she probably figured ok fine. I’ll be the villain you all think I am. I do however feel the next episode will be perhaps a flashback/earth trial. I think Rio will show Teen some things and there may even be a slight fight depending on how she reacts to him basically banishing Agatha. That or it’ll be the three having to complete the divination trial wherever they got sent.

That's my guess too. It seems like Agatha's power or ambition or curse was deemed as bad/evil by her mother or coven and she was always treated badly. That's why Rio defended her against the mom. Rio hates what Agatha can be but she also knows that her mom is a horrible mom. It broke when Agatha figured out who he is. This confirms he is Demiurge Wiccan, the embodiment of good chaos magic on Earth, (or should I say Billy Kaplan, the reincarnation of Billy Maximoff, Wanda's son.) And he just deemed the rest of the Coven unworthy to finish the witches' road with him.

Chton and the Darkhold only exist to create the Scarlet Witch, the peak and source of Neutral Chaos Magic, which then in turn creates Chton and the Darkhold in the past. In the same way Demiurge only exists in the future to create Wiccan, the peak and Source of Good Chaos magic, in the past, to become the Demiurge in the future. The hints that he IS Billy maximoff 1. After saying the name of agatha's son, teen didn't have the sigil sign and he put the glass thingy on the letter B 2. Billy Maximoff in the WandaVision has BLUE POWERS, Teen also has blue powers 3. The crown says it all and the music plays, that song was sung by BILLIE Eilish...sounds familiar isn't it

Am i the only one who actually enjoyed this trial too, liked it being different than others and the possession was actually pretty cool and we literally got more information about our main character. Each trial has been for one witch only, not all have to be included to feel like a trial. But yeah it did feel too short and i get it not giving more time to breath. But once again events after the trial were more interesting and the end was so unexpected,got no idea what will happen to the witches next and how will they get saved. Easily the best episode yet. The opening was so haunting in the best way possible. Aubrey Plaza's witch cackle is PERFECT!!! And then my favorite decade, the 80's. The ouija board. The reveal at the end

I think this episode had the most things being revealed. I think the mom wants Agatha dead, and her son was there to save her. I don't believe Agatha has ever had control of her powers. She truly was curious about the Darkhold, and was corrupted by Mephisto, becoming an unwilling "Agent" to collect souls by not having control. Basically Agatha was made evil because every flashback and even this one called back to her not wanting to absorb the power, but once she has it, she goes back to her corrupted state. She felt bad after Alice was killed by her powers. I don't know, we'll find out soon enough I guess.
