I think Agatha was killing witches not to just take power for herself at first. She was taking power to heal her son. Cause she mentions him being sickly before she kills some and then he gets better. He only dies when she doesn't take power for him after he refuses.

She just mentioned that the boy was unwell because he didn't eat and then the baby laughs after she kills the witches. She isn't healing him. She even mentions later on that her magic cannot heal him.

This series is top tier Marvel television and competitive with some of the Marvel films. For all the complaining about bad writing, this show has amazing writing with an obviously thought out storyline. The characters were well developed with great dialogue. Well done to the creative team and all the cast and dares that worked on this series; the work really shows.

This series is a dream come true for me. Like Greg with Superman and Tim with Spiderman, Wiccan is my favorite character ever. He was brought to life so perfectly i couldn't be happier. I cannot wait to see where we get him again.

2 first episodes and 2 finale was honestly friggin perfect. Allows a nice dive in the beginning and then lets the ending breathe without a setup cliffhanger.

As a massive Young Avengers fan, this show absolutely knocked it out of the park. They had to stick the landing with Billy and Tommy (we'll see about the latter) if they're going in the same direction as the comics. Billy is so well done and is nearly 1:1 from the comics.

Joc Sheafer the creator of this show and wandavision said these shows are a trilogy of shows and this is part 2 and that visionquest is the 3rd part of this triolgy. so i bet they find tommy in it and vision and then go after wanda which would be a nice setup for a wanda movie

I'm so interested in the way they're gonna use Vision to do the same "Fiction shaping reality" narrative, because Vision is the perfect character to do that. He wasn't born he was created. First by Ultron then by Wanda. He is already fiction made reality. And if they're doing the Tom King story then he's creating his own family. And in the comics Victor Mancha comes into the story as an outside family member, so you gotta assume that Billy's gonna take that role. The REALLY fun thing is that with contemporary AI discussion in art they have a really potent metaphor for the show, just like the recent X-Men comics which had commentary of how AI only consumes art to grow itself, but can't create something original. So I think the Vision household is gonna very cheaply recreate decades of AI movies and it just can't do it in the way that Wiccan or Wanda do it naturally.

No Rio’s death face was not practical. She did have prosthetics on but they were only for lighting references, for when they replace the prosthetics with CGI. The prosthetics she wore are very different, specially in color but also the teeth. Prosthetics are used a lot just for light reference for CGI replacement.

I think what a lot of people seem to forget (including in this episode) is that Agatha is actually extremely evil IN THIS SHOW which is truly revealed in 1x8. You did mention that we never believe she would betray Teen BUT in 1x8 she actually would have done exactly that if Billy didn't prevent it. Agatha new from the beginning of this episode that Billy needed to turn himself over to Death out of his own will and she promises Death that she will deliver Billy to her, so she starts a plan that almost succeded and would have accomplished both. She first is really sympathetic to Billy (helping him bring his brother back, not draining all his power, even "suggesting" that she would "sacrifice" herself) so that he will in the end try to sacrifice himself for her (which is him turning himself over to death). Then she would have simply walked away. That plan was only prevented because Billy was too clever to realize that he can change her mind by bringing up Nicholas. It will be interesting what her ghost form now gets for a character arc. I personally hope that she now needs to come to terms with what she did and maybe do good in order to "balance it out" a bit in her mind and when that is finally done she can finally go and meet "Nicholas" again. Though of course she will first try and get her body back

47:26 Death thinks Deadpool is HILARIOUS --she actually kinda likes him more than Thanos (sometimes). Seeing Plaza as Death and Reynolds as Deadpool on screen together would equal to Cap wielding Mjolnir.

I'm totally on the opposite of the Ralph Bohner thing too. They should have alluded to something here that should have been in WandaVision. That's not only one of the most disappointing things in WandaVision, but in the whole of the MCU. Why bring back the other actor for Quick Silver and not have any connection to it inside the show? It's like it was just a cameo but presented as much more and they fucked it hard

It was ok, I wish every episode was as good as episode 7, Death's Hand in Mine, easily the high point by a mile. I just thought the finale was a bit of a low point, especially after that, but also, it didn't really move anyone's story along.....

Sorry, have not watched these in a while. Why is Daredevil 2003 and Elektra on this MCU list? Can't be because Elektra was in Deadpool/Wolverine because that would mean adding other non MCU to the list such as Blade, FF, X-Men, etc. If anything add Daredevil and Punisher from Netflix to this list. But honestly, nothing that's not TRUE MCU should be on any MCU list IMO. Made by different people in a different time with far different guidelines on how to tackle Marvel. Non MCU stuff just feels a bit off, like fan fiction. It's like forcing the new Indiana Jones game into the official Spielberg/Lucas film series instead of just some non-canon side thing written by video game writers.

I'm surprised to hear Tim say he liked this corner of the world making sense and having its own rules when most of it is just random for the sake of the plot. It's got the same problem a lot of horror movies do where the demon/ghost can do anything but also nothing whenever the script needs it (The CUCU does this a lot). When they're just going through trials it felt very random. There's no stakes because it's all made up.

This show just wasn’t my cuppa tea. All the witches lore and such isn’t for me. Them singing “The Witches Road” was so corny I hated it. Then it was even worse when doing it with instruments. I proper cringed. The ending made the use of the song make sense but still, it was super cheesy. So many character I just didn’t care for. I didn’t really care for or empathise with Agatha. I just found her a bit annoying tbh. Even Aubrey Plazas Death was disappointing. She never felt super powerful or anything. I think the only bit I did quite like was Wiccan. 5/10.
