6:50 when they said that they didn't know how to play instruments but the black woman picks up a bass guitar, it was so blatant that I thought it HAD to be an homage to South Park. Specifically, the episode where Cartman tells Token to play bass guitar and Token says he doesn't know how to play a guitar, and Cartman tells him that he's black and so therefore he automatically knows how to play bass. And, much to Token's annoyance, Cartman is RIGHT and he actually does intuitively know how to play bass.

As someone who's kinda worn out from all the Marvel/Star-Wars mid content that's pumped out, I'd say... Agatha All Along is alright. It's campy in a charming way, which kinda smooths over various low budget special effects and sets that look like amusement park rides. It is pretty upfront about Agatha being blatantly evil, never letting us sit in a moment where we might be sympathetic towards her before reminding us why she's a villain to the core. So while I think it has problems that are probably just budget issues, it's a fun watch. It isn't drawing an absurd amount of attention to the gender or orientation of the characters, maybe one or two scenes at best where it delayed the story for 3 seconds. Unless you're intentionally focusing on the gender/orientation, the show isn't going out of its way to remind you.

If, from what I understand, this is a basic Wizard of Oz plot, then Billy lied to Agatha about what he wanted so he could use her help to go down the witches road and bring Wanda back to life. Honestly, what I would love to see them do is have him make a deal with Audrey (Lady Death) where he kills Agatha to exchange Agatha’s soul for his mom’s. Personally I love that they aren’t making her a straight up good guy character but are instead keeping her as a bad guy by introducing Wican to be the more traditional Hero role 1:00 okay you seem to think that this show is all about setting up Agatha and you are wrong, you are either intentionally or unintentionally being ignorant of the fact that this show has spent (at the time of writting this) the past 3 episodes setting up Wican who will likely lead the Young Avengers and could very well be a future Avenger. Also even if he didn’t exist why would the fact that, “Agatha isn’t important” be a problem, can’t the show just exist as it’s own thing. Take moon knight for example, most people agree that moon knight was really good but thusfar there has been absolutely 0 mention of or plans for Moon Knight in the greater MCU.
