@@Goldenblade14 it was never the weakest. It's just takes a while for players to figure him out because it is an entirely new God with kinda distinct playstyle in comparison with the other Norse Gods. Same will happen with the Chinese.

this has more to do with your play style than individual civ. play what feels easiest and stick with it. just start learning the fundamentals

I was always a fan of the Thor Axeman rush even in classic CD AOM. 3:15 Classic Age and two rax by 4:00 is such a trip, won my only ranked game back in the day thanks to it. Don’t sleep on using dwarves to cut wood and get food. They’re 3-4% slower, but gold gathers 10% faster than even hunt, so in a sense, they’re cheaper, and you can save the food to age up.

Dwarven breastplate makes berserks usable and not literal garbage it doesnt make them insane. Bite of the shark murmillos beat them on equal cost with over half of the murmillos remaining. They objectively still suck compared to other infantry

Berserkergang nearly beats champion Hypapists with 1-2 hypapists living by the end of it They are a generalized unit which can fight against any unit Murmillos are also generalized unit and it makes sense for them to be better because they are pretty much the only decent early game Atlantean unit

Never underestimate berserks - they’re vanilla, but they’re quick, and a god like Thor can pick up even more speed (Forseti) and lifesteal (Tyr). Combine with how easy it is for Norse to drop a dozen longhouses, it’s oddly effective to win through economy by just spamming bers.

@ Are you lying or just confused? Equal resources, 16 hypaspists with no unique upgrades vs 17 Berserkers with dwarven breastplate, call of valhalla, and berserkergang., the hypaspists win with 11 remaining and nearly full hp.

I wish Kronos would get some love, but I'm not sure how to actually give it to him without just giving him access to Oceanus. Oceanus is such a dividing factor in Atlanteans and basically mandates that Oranos and Gaia have to pick him unconditionally because Bite of the Shark and Frontline Heroics are just so absurdly powerful that Leto and Prometheus aren't options. Maybe they could instead look at remove Bite of the Shark from the game? I say this as an Atlantean player, lol.

Great video as always! It is interesting that many top players put Ra on top, but it seems different on the ladder where the winrate of Ra gets lower till elo of 1600-1700 or something. I think it is the nature of defensive panths, but also with the better understandings in power spikes. I know it could be too much but would you have some time to make a separate video with power spikes for each panths for better understanding playing against/with them please? Since the new patch is out too?

@@taklee375 Yeah I'd probably put Ra in the middle for a mid-low level tier list... Though a 4 monument guide would probably see the winrate skyrocket down there as well. 😂😂

As a 1300 player, I think that Ra has lower winrate because it has a lot of pickrate, so it levels out to 50% WR naturally. I also think there are a lot of Ra one tricks that have their elo inflated because of how strong Ra is.

I think Freyr is really strong at the moment, I'm just a 1500 but I feel he is as strong as Ra at the moment. I do agree with kronos and odin, but how to buff them? I would love to hear your thoughts on it, maybe another video in collab with magic to talk this, I would love it.

There are only 2500 players. anyway, 1500 s a pretty good intermediate player level I think seeing as the average is like 1100

I'd like to see a real Rehia buff for Kronos, also i'd buff the resources given back when myth unit or siege dies...like make it 50% and maybe a little faster myth units and siege aswell (destroyers included!).

So sad they nerfed Odin to the floor, there's legit not a single argument to pick him vs any other norse gods, I just keep playing odin because it's been my main for so much time now but it's sad you have to outplay everyone, even tho on my skill lvl it's still playable obviously, but if you look at the other gods, it just feels like you're playing a naked god with nothing for him...

It’s true, I’m just not sure what Odin does. He has amazing Jarls, you don’t get Ring Giver with Thor, and Loki has no special bonuses, but that’s like, the end of the list.

Its funny that you put Ra in S-tier, because thats for me (Hades main) the easiest god to play against. However, I struggle so much with Norse that for me they are by far the hardest to play against.

You will start getting rekt the day you match against a Ra player who invests in slingers/infantry instead of camel/chariot All Ra players currently suffering from Midgol trap, where they get rekt by Peltast Tox Hades (Migdol units don't have any bonus vs archers)

@@goochipoochie honestly its not the late game thats the problem. I mean yes, i personally generally struggle much more against Ras infantry than against his cav, because I prepare for his cav, but Ras just so easy to abuse early game. With hades I just spam bull minotaurs and raid Ra easily. And most of the time in my elo (~1200) Ra players rush 2nd tc, so I put a pegasus on top of the tc and can deny everything.

@@sky_95a He's only one of the best gods if you're low elo, lol. Kronos literally has to be able to cheese players with temple shifts and win by early harass which stops working after around ~1200 elo, and ends up just losing you the game after 1400.

The thing that made Kronos good for so long with early rush is no longer effective as it once was. Pretty much everyone can hold on against him nowdays but also Prometheans being slightly more expensive does make a big difference as well for Kronos.

Ra has so much more than Son of Osiris. He explained it all in the description of Ra. You can also look at the winrates yourself if you're in so much doubt, the statistics agree with Boit. Kronos does not have good God powers. He completely lacks the ability to access Oceanus whom has BotS and Frontline Heroics which are two of the best upgrades in the game for Atlanteans. Deconstruct is not a good God power and is mostly just used to remove a Stronghold temporarily, and now that everyone is used to Kronos' gimmick of time shifting and how to counter it, there's almost no point in time shifting buildings anymore.
