Props for the Butcher tyrant proxy - I spent a year ish trying to get a Master of Possessions when they were from an out of print starter set, and apologizing every time I used a sorcerer model instead. Well, new edition comes out and he doesn't have a power in common and effectively a different unit lol. Feels pretty silly to nit pick basically character class differences 😅

Thanks for the comment! I absolutely agree. In our new flesh eater courts army we have a Vargskyr for a Courtier and a 3d print Varghulf. Also in our new Skaven army we have a bunch of amazing sculpts that were all 3d printed. People should be more relaxed about which units you use, as long as the model is easily identified. Love your battlereps! Only thing that I would suggest is making sure when you use small bases like gnoblars, they have to be exactly base to base to be coherent. So they can't string like you just did through a terrain piece. Might not matter in the big scheme of things but I enjoy your battlereps because you usually get all the rules correct and play from a competetive perspective.

This is partially correct, either side of the chain needs to have models in base contact or have a triangle at either side, but the models inside the chain can be up to an inch apart on either side. Otherwise as soon as on end of the chain breaks, you will lose a large portion of the screen to coherency. The safest bet is to make a triangle every 4-5 models. Although sometimes it makes sense to make the screen very long to limit movement or ensure someone cannot charge around you 😉

Hey guys, I think you are playing surround and destroy wrong. If I caught it correctly, you moved skinks and Slaan to the same edge, it doesn't matter that a part was in and a part out of your territory. Just make sure you don't do it in a tournament, as you might get disappointed.

Am I reading the Surround and Destroy battle tactic wrong? Don’t the units have to be on different battlefield edges? The Slann and one unit of skinks were on the same battlefield edge.

How do the second(maybe can see by) and third large cannon dude shoot on turn1? Isn't the terrain blocking line of sight? Also why does Seraphon try and dispell his own Pendulum?

2 reasons to dispel his own endless spell 1. His Slanns command trait gives 2 cpp per dispel/unbind/wuccessful cast. This nets an additional 2 cpp/turn 2. So that the endless spell can be recast/repositioned on their following turn.

Line of sight is age of sigmar is plain line of sight. I your model can see any part of the target you can shoot. All units were in range and visible that were picked as targets :)

Magic denial and speed. You need to clear their screens and get into the juicy bits before summon points get too high, or you need to be defensive enough to hold the primary while you take alot of magic damage. Khorne, Belakor, Null Myriad, Tzeentch are all good examples of armies that can beat Seraphon.

Great report y’all. I don’t mean to discredit anyone’s particular tastes…but I think this form of serephon is terrible for the game. It takes forever to resolve all the abilities, is not interactive, and is near broken level strong. Curious of y’all’s thoughts on it?

i have taken the Kroak bomb to 2 Gts (Tacoma and Boise) and this is my experience, Its incredibly easy to turn kroak "off". There are a bunch of strong armies in the meta that just dont allow this army to function. And then the reverse is true there are a bunch that have no answer. It usually ended up with me any my opponent being able to look at that matchup and decide turn one if kroak was going to win or not. That was fundamentally unfun for my opponent and I. Either i was having a bad play experience because i was playing into Khorne, or OBR, or Tzeentch, or Belakor, Or they were having a bad play experience. My preference is now to run kroak inside of coalesced, Its list powerful but more balanced.

Played Meatfist vs seraphon in a tournament a few weeks ago. Next time I concede round 1 vs this spell+mortal wound trash, go for dinner or a workoutand come back for next round 3h later to play again. XD
