The animal cruelty in his country is so overwhelming that most people would just give up in despair, but he keeps plowing on, rescuing one animal from cruelty at a time, saving one life at a time no matter what....and he stays positive throughout everything. Sadly, so many animals don't know that they want love, because they've never known it, never experienced it. But when you see a rescued animal respond to the first love and kindness they've ever experienced in their lives, and they realize how good it feels to know that someone cares about them, how good it feels to be shown that they are important and that their lives matter...that always brings a tear to my eye and a lump to my throat. ❤

He used to own a nightclub in Crete and sold it, and brought his land, he was living in a porta cabin which he shared with over 10 dogs for years before he built his house, where he lives with his Dogs. He also has cats goats and sheep. I'm a patreon and give £10 month to him for past 3yrs he brought out his own line of merchandise, and raised over £28,000 but gave ALL the money to local villages and vets and paid for people to get their dogs & cats desexed ( neuted) Go give his KZbin channel a watch Takis Shelter.

I cried watching this because one of my dog was chained and beaten for years before being rescued... after that he spent years again in the rescue and then I adopted him. He is so damaged, but he always loved everybody!! dogs, cats, humans, children, he just loves the attention and can't get enough!!! He is deaf, arthritic, his trachea was damaged by the chain, his teeth are worn down, one of his ears was broken, he is full off scars, one of his hip joint was broken without seeing a vet at the time and I love him to the moon and back!!! He is around 10 years old now and living his best life and filling my days with love and happiness!!! The person who rescued him is my personal hero ♥

My dog had a life very similar to this before I got him. He was chained in a back yard all his life. He use to be aggressive towards other dogs but can now walk off-leash and play with them. These stories just show that it's the people who mess up the dogs not the dogs being naturally aggressive. They always have a reason. :)
