From the US' Tier 1 units, who in the past were literally the ones who helped train Israel's teams. Now they do joint operations and training since Israel's SF units today are extremely proficient on their own, but our SF teams were the ones who helped train earlier iterations of Israel's SF teams and they adopted a lot of the tactics of the US Tier 1 operators as a blueprint for how they wanted their teams to operate.

She was rescued early on after Oct 7.. She was one from the female unit that was attacked n many murdered that morning..I've know that alot of soldiers have trackers on them ,or there uniforms The US sent in a unit into a hospital to rescue fellow captured soldier Jessica Flynch without any casualties..they also retrieved the bodies of her unit that was all killed but her ,in a shallow grave outside the hospital..They received intell from a nurses husband n created a diversion fight nearby the hospital as to get some of the Iraq soldiers to leave the heavily guarded hospital.. They went in n out like that .

Not sure how it can be claimed that Yamam is THE premier unit in the world at conducting CT operations, especially given that theyre part of the Police force, not military. I thought it was pretty well agreed upon that the likes of Devgru and especially Delta(which is probably overall the most skilled, and versatile SF unit in the world) were pretty much unquestionably the best when it comes to CT and HRT operations...I mean theyre essentially who Israel's SF teams are modeled after and were trained by. Not to mention, how are you going to claim a police force is the best at Counter Terrorism ops, when units like Delta have FAR, FAR more experience in such a role since they were actually on the ground in Iraq/Afghanistan etc. during the GWoT conducting CT ops CONSTANTLY. A lot of those Tier 1 units like Delta were quite literally hitting targets almost every night(sometimes even multiple targets a night), hunting terrorists and/or collecting intel. They just dont have anywhere near the amount of experience and real world reps as US Tier 1 units got throughout the GWoT. This isnt to say any of the Israeli SF units are bad, theyre extremely skilled and squared away, but theyre just not on the level of Devgru/Delta.

Their mission is CT and HR inside of Israel, and while there are of course real terrorist threats around Israel, they are not actively engaging threats on a daily basis, or conducting raids(and other DA missions) on a daily basis. Their job primarily is to deter terrorism, conduct intelligence operations(to prevent terrorist threats before they happen, in conjunction with Mossad and other Israel intel agencies) and then in the instance there is a threat, to deal with that threat. When you compare that with Delta(and other tier 1 units) during the entirety of the GWoT, the level of experience pales in comparison. At the height of the GWoT, Delta and our other Tier 1 units were quite literally conducting DA missions every single night, sometimes doing multiple hits a night, and hunting HVT's across most of the Middle East. There is no fighting force in the world who garnered anywhere close to the amount of experience with Counter Terrorism that units like Delta and other Tier 1 units gained during the GWoT...thats why I find it pretty odd to somehow claim Israel's special police force of Yamam is somehow the "premier" CT force in the world, its just a nonsensical claim. Like I said already though, that isnt to say they arent an extremely capable unit, its just impossible for them to have anywhere near the amount of experience a unit like Delta has with CT operations.

Yamam are a part of the police force, but all of its operators were in elite units in the military. Their juristiction is not just within Israel, as you just heard, they operate in Gaza, which is a warzone. They also recently rescued 2 more hostages from Hamas. The unit will operate wherever it's needed. Israeli units are not modelled after, nor are trained by DEVGRU or Delta.
