Thanks for the video, honestly the AGM didn't perform that bad in my opinion. The ECHO is clearer for sure though. Video compression probably hides the details.

This is recorded using Sony A7 ii mirrorless at 1080p 50mbit/s. And then renderd in 4k so you don't lose to much in the render process.

@@EagleBayNightSupplies True, but I think if you viewed the video on a proper video player it would look a lot better since KZbin compresses it again. I use MPV player personally. Could you provide a download link to the original video file?

These are not particularly challenging conditions but the Gen 3 tube is clearly a better performer than the others.

its hard to tell because Omni Contract tubes dont have spec sheets that come with them. You would have to look up the specs for Omni 8 the DoD puts out the tube has to meet to know. I do believe it's a min of 25 it has to meet? but that doesnt mean ever Omni 8 tube will have a min SNR of 25, some might be 32. 25 is just the minimum to meet the cut for milspec/mil-std

Correct. AGM pvs 14 with 1600 FOM and 10000gain. Watch att full-screen. And 4k, then you'll be able to see the difference clearly
