They super emotional and form very strong bonds. him trying to change the dogs behaviour towards the fam by keeping it away isn't going to do anything without them being present. This comment is for the owner of this dog if they’re seeing, it takes a lot of time and patience to train a grownup independent thinking dog when you miss the initial 4 month puppy stage for training. Always remember that dogs see your families as their pack and the pack leader is you. Also you should let your dog know that he comes at very bottom of your pack even after your kids. Don’t give them pets when they misbehave, instead correct them just by saying NO in a very deep voice. Trainer did a fantastic job, but he need more time to fix this dog. It’s the owners job to reinforce whatever the dog has learned so far and follow the trainers instructions. Good luck! I own two giant breed independent thinking dogs.
