Actually they dont mind a person who is not hindu having non veg daily... Especially a guy with a hindu name consuming non veg on daily basis is considered surprising as many north indians who are non veg consumes it on weekends only and avoid non veg on tuesdays strictly..... Especially if the hindu guy even says that he is a beef eater then he is seen as a kulamkuthi.... I come frm a traditional veg family though i consume non veg occasionally..and was brought in Maharashtra .
