Podcast is Called : ASN Humans Are Space Orcs , HFY and other stories
--------------
This Story is Classified as HFY or Humanity Feck, Yea , but what does the Mean?
-------------
HFY is a story/series that takes a “human element” in either humanity or an “other” (race/species or object) that exists in a “setting” (future or other world/universe) with varying levels of culture, technology, society and history that help show in some shape or form the potential good or bad for humanity’s race/culture. In These stories Humans are often referred to as Human, Humanity, Deathworlder, Hellwolder in reference to the human planet of origin , Earth. This planet is seen by most of the universe as a place where only death and chaos can survive.
-------------
Taken from the FAQ of the r/HFY subreddit.
Humans Are Space Orcs (HASO) or Humans Are (Fantasy Race) Are used as a guide when writing.
In these Stories we normally View humans like the other races view orcs in a Fantasy Novel. We (Humans) share the same characteristics and personalities as orcs. Humans are normally treated as the outsiders and barbarians. Humans tend to be underestimated as well in these stories. Unlike Humanity Feck Yea , these don't always put a positive spin on humans\humanity sometimes looking at the darker side of human and humanity from the perspective of aliens.

Cthulhu: Wait, You wanted to conquer Earth? *evil chuckle* Oh, You poor, poor fools. Xenos: Pardon? Cthulhu: Not only is Earth of great interest of me and my siblings, but we had a little deal with Humanity, they helped our followers in a war and we granted them godlike abilities in return. Xenos: What!? Cthulhu: I mean, we made it so most of them forgot all about it, but from time to time... an individual that does wield the power is born. For example, the one they call Chuck Norris. You were very lucky to not run into him. Through, luck is relative, as You did end up in our hands.

Yep played that right. Even when he thought not being noticed he tried to avoid getting in way. Found a quiet spot, asked, offered to move if in wrong place, said he would leave if not wanted. Plus the radio message. How could you not respond to that? At start the tourist junk seemed feeble. But he explained why.

The ultimate method of dealing with bullies. Just ignore them to the point where even if they get angry and attack they hit... nothing. I can see exactly why this was crazy enough to work.

@@z3r0t0l3r4ns Teachers in schools use that thinking all the time. And it's dead wrong, it'll just make them step up their attempts and/or get others in on it. The only people who think like that were never bullied themselves. Just as useless as the advice of "It takes two to fight, just walk away" cause that doesn't work either, it's just turning your back on someone hostile.

But you can actually catch wasps with vinegar...not sure how that helps (well, it's a good tip for summer in keeping wasp numbers down if you put vinegar in a modified 2L Coke bottle wasp trap). But I'm not sure how it impacts the pathos of the allegorical flies and honey.

Particularly nice considering the military applications of tech like that would make ships nigh invincible and defenses useless against our weapons. Despite this there was no show of force or any type of dick measuring. Instead we were just annoyed (probably having ran into a civilization or two before, who were equally dickish). Likely having already eliminated one or two such hostile empires we decided that it was likely that everyone were dicks and that there was really no point in destroying every one of them thus making us truly alone. Instead we installed some defenses and once protected. Just sighed when yet another set of dicks appeared, turned on the defense and went about their business, some what annoyed that yet another set of jerks are out there and reinforcing the idea that they are all jerks.

Give yourself a pat on the back Agro! You did a great and humorous job narrating and picked a story that should prove to the rest of the authors that you don't need to cram an entire dictionary complete with thesaurus down the audiences ear holes to make a great story! Too many of these authors out there seem to be trying to prove to everybody how dictionary intelligent they are when in reality they're just boring the crap out of well, me anyway. Please keep up the good work, thank you!😊

Idk if this blue elf truly this, but simply by being the first one who cared enough to clear the incredibly low bar of asking Nicely, that he has secured his species future. Others will likely follow his example once they get the idea that please and thank you have more power than any weapon with humans around, but we won’t forget the first to actually want to be friends, the fact he opened with that is a big plus on my end as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were our closest alliance given how much we don’t want to be alone in the universe.
