+Milanguy1999 my problem with the OVAs is that they only adapt the 1st half and not the second. I did research as to why and apparently the second half of North Star is forgotten and disliked in Japan as a whole from what I found at least.

it's been 1 year since this post, but here goes nothing: the manga is fabulous! worth every page read. the action is top notch! also, these cutscenes are 100% replica of the manga.

Gigantic Hokuto No Ken/Fist of The North Star vibes from this. I love it

Oh yes. Sakigake!! Otokojuku is very influenced by Fist Of The North Star that it "borrows" some character designs. It isn't as tragic as North Star but it definitely emulates a lot of the same masculinity. The anime has a 34 episode show in the late 80's but didn't cover the highlight being a massive tournament arc that requires 16 team members. That arc is what's featured here.

Anime Pachinko, Pachislot or Pachi tend to have exclusive cutscenes on a tiny monitor. A big mystery to me is why they tend to have a budget for new soundtracks, new animation & new voice acting. This Otokojuku pachi was made in the 2010's & features new content from the next manga arc after their fight with the 3rd years. Challenge The Heavens Olympics.

Sorry. Toei at the time was going around getting rid of stuff. I took some precautions for I wasn't sure the pachinko footage was under their domain. To be honest, the quality I had was terrible. I didn't even have the proper audio track. Better clips like the pachinko opening can be found elsewhere on other KZbin channels.
