I think what they might do with Baylan Skol since the actor died, is have him regret his action and say he decided to disappear and to follow his own path. He seemed somewhat sad and a little remorseful that he is now hunting down his own kind, like Anakin/Vader did. As for Shin Hati, she will continue her masters(Baylan Skol) original plan before his change of heart

Loved most all of it. Hera’s costuming feels just a little lower quality than everything else but she is also definitely the hardest to pull off and she still looks good. Chopper in live action is fantastic. Loved the smaller Rebels references so far like Azadi and Jai. The stabbed in the gut thing is getting slightly old but I think this was pretty easily explainable with Sabine getting likely just about instant medical care for a stab that clearly missed her vital organs. Didn’t expect Ahsoka to literally be Sabine’s master but Huyang’s talk about her lack of ability with the force clears it up a bit and makes for an interesting and pretty unexplored dynamic. Thought the fight scenes were fun and well done, blasters, ships, sabers, enjoyed all of it. Really looking forward to where they go with this, lots of really intriguing stuff with the other galaxy, Nightsisters, Baylan and Shin and what’s going on with Thrawn and Ezra.

Liked the mentioning General Syndulla, (Hera) Twi'lek pilot in the Rebel Alliance (captain of the Ghost.) They mentioned the Denab System and the planet Seatos which were references to specifically the Thrawn Trilogy written by Timothy Zahn where Thrawn was trying to regain control of the galaxy for the Empire The Denab System was an important location in the trilogy because, that’s where the Battle of Bilbringi happened.

More character development focus in episode 2 compared to 1, I really enjoyed that. The difficult master-apprentice relationship between Asoka and Sabine is revealing more and more. Also the Baylan dark Jedi character had some great moments, even sad about fighting Asoka eventually as it seems. Looking forward how they will link Sabine and Grogu going forward as they share the same mandalorian-Jedi combination. Wonder how they’ll address that in Asoka series as it was a big thing in mandalorian as this nature of cross over of culture is rather rare.

A correction: Anakin did have to be trained to become a Force ghost; In the 2007 book The Rise and Fall of Darth Vader, Obi-Wan’s Force ghost had to teach him after Anakin died but before he was subsumed into the Living Force. No Jedi could become a Force Ghost without learning the way of the Whills, which Qui-Gon taught Yoda and taught Obi-Wan, and which Obi-Wan taught to Anakin.

I could be wrong, but assuming Vader was still doing the Emperor's s bidding in RoTJ until Luke threw down his weapon and refused to turn to the dark side. When Palpatine attacked Luke is when Vader turned back to the light. He then dies and is a force ghost by the time they celebrate on Endor. Obi Wan did not have much time to train him.@@IcyPhilosopher

I think even the star map layout is so similar to the star maps in KOTOR, it very much so seems intentional. The way the ball moves up and the entire map is revealed, is exactly how it’s done in KOTOR. Love it

the only issue I have with that is if it was Ezra, they would really need the star map. Seth can tap into memory, and I assume so can Morgan with her witch powes. then another issue is the timeline based on my research. Thrawn from Star Wars rebels and ahsoka they few year apart almost right after the other from ahsoka after first search for Ezra they part way then there where 1st episode starts. where Ezra and Thrawn went to another galaxy and haven't seen episode 3 yet, but episode 2 it seem they need that hyperdrive to go to another galaxy there for hard to see Ezra theory being possible especially short time and how Seth know how look into memories knowing Ezra know the location. I'm not saying Ezra can't become a Seth.

Absolutely love the callback to the ending of Rebels. It's almost like Dave Filoni is giving respect to how he really got his big break in Star Wars. The Clone Wars and Rebels really were his babies, so seeing the animated shows finally connect to the live action Canon shows, its so satisfying. But one thing I always wanted in a sequel or continuation of Star Wars, was expansion on the lore and the wider universe. They can travel the entire universe, yet the events of Star Wars still contains itself within a bubble in their mapped out universe. That's why I loved The Clone Wars and Rebels, it was its own contained story, yet there was an expansion of the Star Wars Universe peppered throughout the show. There almost *needs* to be a threat from the unknown regions. Star Wars has always been about the Force and Force Users. Learning about forces and powers that could be more powerful or dangerous than Force users would be amazing to learn about. I know we're some time away from that, as they can probably keep Star Wars alive with the current lore and universe. But expanding the lore and giving us something new would be amazing

I think I noticed an easter egg in ep 2. In the Rebels episode where Kanan cuts his hair, look at the blade of the knife he uses. There are several small rectangular bars on the blade near the hilt that look like the small rectangular bars on the blade of the knife that Sabine uses to cut her hair. Is this the same knife?

I have a question. Is it possible that Skoll and and Hati might be Loth-Wolves? Their names from Norse mean wolf that chases the sun and wolf that chases the moon. Might be too complex. Could be an Easter Egg of sorts though with world between worlds being possibly used. Also could the Son and the Daughter be involved?

I can't either, my only reasoning is that, after seeing Sebine still alive was, is that no vital organs were cut or destroyed where she got sliced thru, that or Ashoka got to her just in the nick of of time to save her. Plus she got sliced thru closer to the side or near the ribs I think, and I think Qui Gon Jinn got slice straight thru stomach and thru the back I think.

Although I wonder why her characters eyes are different from that of when she was in the mandalorian episode (they were solid brown).
