This worked for Atlas with Jennifer Lopez. DEI as hell, but it was it's own thing and it really, really worked. It is now one of my absolute favorite movies. Omg more flashbacks with Arian Ewan and Hayden? Let’s go! I think doing the Mortis arc in live action might be interesting for those who don’t know about the gods. I understand the hesitation about adapting it to live action. It is kind of a trippy concept. But I like it personally. The flashbacks were great in s1. I’d love more. I’m not expecting Ahsoka to wrapup perfectly, but I do hope the loose ends are tied up neatly or it’s left in a place where Filoni’s movie or the rumored s4 can continue it.

The girl that played young Ahsoka might have been the best Actor on the entire first season, her lightsaber work and basic ability to to convey an actual personality on screen was really refreshing in a show where everyone looked like they we acting in front of a green screen. Ray was good too but the character wasn't flushed out enough to be honest but Ray as Baylen was good too. But the person who was most believable was the Young Ahsoka actress.

If I understand him, he’s saying that the Saga period has been very heavily constrained by established material, so he wants to tell a story in a period well outside that so that he has much more freedom to explore things. Makes sense.

Not surprising, Ewan has said a few times that he would love to see and wear the ObiWan Clone Wars outfit. Now this may be a reality! If they are going on with the Mortis arc then maybe just one or two flashbacks to those would be great! The way Star Wars has been going the last few years especially with the recent disappointments including the Obi wan series, give us the fan service we deserve, but do it right! Season 1 was plenty full of rebels fan service if you think about it! RIP to Ray Stevenson, but Rory McCann is a huge addition to the show’s cast.

The Ahsoka Series was clearly following the timeline straight through Rebels! As it should. It is mostly the same cast and entanglements. Nothing wrong with that. I dearly love where they have gone and are going! My hope is that they are going to continue with all the Rebels characters and the story as it has progressed through season one of Ahsoka! I really don't want them to add 15 more tangents. Just run with what is running! And, yes, I will beat that poor horse a bit more... Can we PLEASE get at least 10 episodes a season and no more than 8 to 12 months between seasons? Please!

All good news. Maybe, if we're lucky, Ahsoka's FINAL season will be 12 episodes. I agree with you that the Mortis arc is the most relevant animated arc with the three of them together, considering the Father's statue in Peridia. Expanding on the Mortis arc in live action is the perfect opportunity to introduce and expand on Abeloth, too. There's only three things the Ahsoka show can further the narrative with without being boring: 1. Thrawn. But, they're separated by God knows how many light years, and, the show isn't called "Ezra". 2. Honing and completing Sabine's Jedi training. Fighting and then, hopefully, teaming up with Shin Hati to defeat Baylan. 3. The Mortis arc. Her connection with the Daughter, combined with the impending surroundings on Peridia, should be enough to spark memories of the Mortis incident.

Baylan Skoll is soon killed by whatever was there, Ahsoka and Sabine cannot stop it, Shin has befriended these outlaws who are in fact descendants of the crew of an old spaceship, that lies hidden somewhere on Peridia. With it they go home to their galaxy, where Thrawn was thrown out by the witches, because they don't need him anymore now that he transported them back to their world. Without much resources he is going to act as a warlord and has to be stopped by Ahsoka, Din Djarin, the Mandalorians and the republic. Dins comrades die in battle and he is free to go back to Omera (from season 1).

That's *The Acolyte* -- a great story idea with dragging plotlines and endless flashbacks, swirling in flopping characters with bad or no motivation.... Kathleen isn't pushing the changes that happen. They just don't take the time to do them right. They have plans and something happens to change them, but they don't rework everything they should. They just do the minimum and think we'll figure it out and still like it. I have no idea what Woke is. Star Wars has always been about JEDI. Justice Equality Diversity Inclusion. Ask George. When it's pushed, that's pandering, but I've never seen anything that doesn't feel natural aside from the lesbian kiss in TRoS. If you do, you might need lessons in being human.

The one thing I want in the Dawn of the Jedi movie is that since it takes place 25,000 years prior, I don’t want it to look like Star Wars. I want the technology, fashion and architecture to be completely different from what we expect. The old EU just showed a stagnant society, I would want the to convey a changing society. I think it would be a good thing to not let previous lore hold back this new movie, let them be creative.

I'm not going to worry too much about member-berries for Ahsoka season 2. We don't even know if Ahsoka and Sabine are going to try to get back to the known galaxy in season 2. They may spend the entire season preventing Baylan and Shin and possibly worse things from getting back. And flashbacks may be the way of Ahsoka telling Sabine about the Mortis Gods and all of that. Well, thanks for the update, Meg. I'd really like to see Ewan McGregor play Obi-wan again. Get to work Dave! Now!
