Going to brew this one love the old school IPAs. Thanks mate.

I am new to brewing, and am trying to recreate a spotted cow clone. It will be my first partial mash, and I know once you finish the infusion in the strike water, and then pour it into the kettle for boil. But, if I plan on downscaling the recipe, do I just divide everything by half grains wise? And would I still boil the same amount of time, as well as mash?

I find Chat GPT to be a useful tool for refining recipes to spice them up, etc. I still like writing my own, but if I get stuck it’s a great tool to have without having to go to homebrew forums or Reddit and getting downvoted and yelled at 😂 Cheers, looks great!

What temp are you sanitising your plate chiller with and how long?
@HomeBrewNetwork Жыл бұрын
I go overkill, it really doesn't take much, I throw it in about 200c for an hour, but if you look up times and temps for killing things it's nowhere near that long or hot. Cheers
@Themadvikingbrewing Жыл бұрын
@@HomeBrewNetwork 200c! are you putting in the oven? I thought you just running water through it?
@HomeBrewNetwork Жыл бұрын
@@Themadvikingbrewing Usually use the oven yes, if you want to use water or something, I'll do it about 90c Cheers!

I asked chat gpt to find 5 award winning five gallon Amber Ales and based on those five award-winning beers create a unique beer that possibly could also be an award winner. I was impressed how fast it found 5 and made 1 that was slightly different. Now I need to just follow thru and brew the recipe...Chris

What's your brewhouse efficiency with the Gen4?
@HomeBrewNetwork Жыл бұрын
varies from 72-76% but that number doesnt mean anything really... Brewhouse eff% takes in what fermenter you use, what chiller you use, so it really isnt a number you should compare to others at all. Cheers!
@emomoney Жыл бұрын
@@HomeBrewNetwork yeah, really meant mash efficiency. But seems you're happy with it overall.
@HomeBrewNetwork Жыл бұрын

HI ya! - do you have any videos on using that Nano fermenter?

Yes, umm, It would show in a few videos, there isnt much to show though its just a fermenter. I do use a lot of different fittings on it, but most are explained in the unboxing video. Cheers
