@@dylan_curious I'll drop by for that! I feel like Sora is going to be priced for Hollywood, not for us. Gen-3 is five times more expensive than it needs to be. 11:30 - Collective Minds , there is a cool project called Substrate , by unsupervised learning , that has similar ideals , in their case how to represent information as knowledge graphs that show the complete picture with sources , from that viewpoint it becomes so much easier to discuss and debate on topics with a collective . it really seems like a one of the big things holding us back as human minds is our own limited context window , that we resort to generalities of broad summarized claims rather then being able to articulate with precision and depth the exact things we might disagree on , and tools like that i think could help tremendously to keep the context visible .

Love the swarm intellect! I feel like A.I. will be helping human species actually become more 'organic' in this sense. More 'group' functional, as maybe our brain evolution has been out-pacing our group instincts a bit, and we end up with things like malfunctional governance and such .. new tech like this may bring us in a 'full circle' so to speak, back to a more organic 'hive' intuition way of being, perhaps more akin to our earlier spec-ial ancestries. Feeling more encouraged, and excited for the future of humanity!

07:24 That's looks pretty much how the old Microsoft Kinect worked; a known pattern, and then with the camera slightly offset from the projector the system evaluates how the pattern got distorted by parallax. Huh, I though they had some sort of LIDAR/Time-of-Flight system on the iPhones instead... Maybe it's the compression making it look like a steady but random-ish pattern instead of a regular grid that would be harder to figure out exactly which part of the pattern the system is looking at... Gotta go watch that Action Lab video next (that guy's very lucky to have such a recognizable voice with how much his clips get yonked without credit...) edit: v=i4n2DRHdrO0 Turns out the front camera uses the Kinect style parallax system and the rear camera uses a LIDAR grid (and I actually had the same surprise when I watched that back when it was originally posted, can still see the comment about it)

Swarm intelligence is awesome! The bots poll the people individually and correlate the responses. That would be amazing for our political environment! Instead of just saying ‘we are going to make things better’ you can nail down a platform and make them more transparent. ‘We are going to take money out of PBS broadcasting and NASA, and add it to the military budget’. Then people can actually give a meaningful response. I see how the collective IQ goes up. So cool!

I posted this on an earlier program but I don't think it went through so for convenience I am posting it again to respond back to you. I will leave it at this. I thought it was kind of interesting how easily chat was able to decipher the language changes. Okay Chat here is a new project for you. I am trying to create a language that will help you determine nouns verbs adjectives and the object of a verb. Here are the rules. If a word is a noun it ends in the letter "a", if a word ends in "er", it is a verb, if it ends in an "a" followed by a "tion" , pronounce "ah shun" it is the object of a verb. Pronouns maintain their English form. " He" is still a "he", and "she" is still a " she ", etc.. The letter "a" by itself is still a classifier that denotes a single object, 'a thing'. The word,"the", is still a classifier that denotes a specific object, that is to say a specific thing. So with the following sentence I would like you to list which words are nouns and which words are verbs and objects according to the rules I gave you. I noticeder that the doga was runninger quickly. He was chasinger a rabbitation. .... Here's the response. ..... Sure, let's break down the sentence according to the rules you provided: ### Sentence: "I noticeder that the doga was runninger quickly. He was chasinger a rabbitation." ### Word Classification: - **I**: Pronoun (remains unchanged) - **noticeder**: Verb (ends in "er") - **that**: Conjunction (remains unchanged) - **the**: Classifier (remains unchanged) - **doga**: Noun (ends in "a") - **was**: Auxiliary verb (remains unchanged) - **runninger**: Verb (ends in "er") - **quickly**: Adverb (remains unchanged) - **He**: Pronoun (remains unchanged) - **was**: Auxiliary verb (remains unchanged) - **chasinger**: Verb (ends in "er") - **a**: Classifier (remains unchanged) - **rabbitation**: Object of a verb (ends in "ation") ### Summary: - **Nouns**: doga - **Verbs**: noticeder, runninger, chasinger - **Objects**: rabbitation - **Pronouns**: I, He - **Classifiers**: the, a - **Other**: that, was, quickly This should cover the classification of words in the sentence according to your rules. Would you like to add or modify any rules or try another example?
@dylan_curious2 ай бұрын
"doga was runninger quickly" that is soooo fun to read. What an interesting idea to teach an LLM and have it grasp the rules. Oh man. Anyone can make a whole new language now days. Maybe every Jr High school friend group will have their own language.

3D Printed Food, More than the meal bars and soups I have commented about. Why would anyone print a steak that tastes like chicken? ‘Why wouldn’t they print a chicken breast that looks like…’ A comment was that 3D printing beef would cause as much pollution as razing a cow. ‘How much pollution is made to make the electricity used by a 3D printer?’ We can turn 2D images into 3D images with a new AI. ‘I guess that is useful if you have a 3D printer.’ Dylan tells us about a video he saw where a man who should know better tells us there is definitely otherworldly higher intelligence in our world. ‘If there was other worldly higher intelligence on this planet, they would know better than to let us know…’

Great work Dylan. Loving the analysis and content. Omega 6 is a good fat - it’s the ratio between it and omega 3 that is more relevant. Saturated fat and trans fats are the less than good fats that could be taken out and replaced. Don’t listen to the environment arguements people complain about. I looked into it and when compared to actual meat which is one of the most carbon heavy areas of production (and not killing animals would be a good thing anyways) it’s not a good argument. Particuarly since we can optimise the carbon for lab meat, but we can’t optimise a cow… So much awesome news!
