Interesting approach to determining a new look with existing products.

Chanel lip in Boy is one on my favourites! With skin tone like ours, it looks great with a lip liner otherwise it’s too light for my liking.

Wow. Very interesting. Folk are worried about AI. Also, I have an oily T zone and nothing beats a mattifying primer. I like Sheseido Waso and I shall try the One Size one after the next Sephora sale.

Well, this was informative, but I don’t think truly informative right? It seems like when you’re reading off of what they’re suggesting they’re taking it directly from the brand‘s website as opposed to really making a determination. Interested as to your thoughts. Also, I’m wondering if it takes in the rating comments of the users do you happen to know?

This was an interesting experiment. It initially would provide a summary of each item which aligned closely with the brand descriptions, but then it provided a recommendation based on my prompts. So it did evaluate and recommend, but it was a bit cautious in its recommendations. I could definitely continue drilling down to get it to be more definitive. The key to that really is asking questions well. I also found that the older the product the more info available. So I can surmise that it is sourcing from whatever is out there on the internet, including reviews - maybe even mine 😄

So geek, like Cher's closet computer program in Clueless. 💃🏼 I'm not sure what app this is? Do the replies just pull product descriptions from the web or internal database, or the language completely generative? It sounds like text-to-speech. For me, I wouldn't mind entering my collection in an database type app and then it randomizes a look for me, and images like Cher's program. Mainly as a way of using my collection better. I don't know if other creators use more than spreadsheets? BUT I am seeing more creators doing a "neglected makeup GRWM," and discussing why they aren't pulling those products more. So a trend of finding creative ways to rotate through products. The larger reality of people not needing or wanting to buy anything, and that's a vibe everywhere. When I read some of the comments, what comes to mind is my 20s, 30s a makeup geek communicating largely with myself and magazines like Allure, Vogue. There was no way to order or buy makeup like Calvin Klein, Prada skincare, Anna Sui early on, Bobbi or even Poppy lip shine unless flying to NYC. And when I flew there for other lucky reasons, it was Saks and Bigelows, very early Sephora and later Barneys always by myself. Makeup geekiness largely a silent, solo activity, the grooming was secret. Makeup has leapt forward due to tech, it's better than ever. And I know before buying if something is utter crap. And all of it is a form of play, I definitely enjoy this type of content so I go pull out something to use and think hard about why 😅

I still have a few Rogue Coco Flashes, used up several. I still have Boy in rotation, and a couple limited spring ones I got that you had, when it was a look , finding this perfect magenta + poppy combination. But the formula isn't emollient enough or comfortable. I would say their new Rouge Allure Velvet liquids are more forgiving and feel better, and they are matte! It's astounding, it truly is a better choice for my more mature lips, so yeah makeup keeps getting better. 🦾💄
