To think. This is the 'growing brain' and other sections of technology are working on the body. Imagine when someone perfects tomorrow's even better AI into tomorrow's robotic body, covered with realistic synthe skin... add a realistic voice... We're basically playing Frankenstein as he tries to figure out how to build the monster, right now. What happens when Monster wakes up?

OK... So not a chat bot. But I just wanna share. I've been a bit freaked out with technology especially since a few months ago this happened. My amazon Tv firestick has a built in alexa. However it's has limited responses and only works, listens or answers after someone presses and holds the alexa button and gives a command or question. Baring that in mind. Let me tell you this Shook me! I was led down on my sofa one night. It was around 2 ish in the morning. I was nowhere near my remote either. And my elexa on my TV suddenly came on and whispered the words Boo at me. But it sounded off too and was random AF. Scared the shit out of me. I felt every hair on my body stand up. I've tried asking it questions since. And questions related to that incident and very occasionally it gave me an eery strange answer. Or refused to work and as soon as I'd ask a normal command it would work as normal. Idk but it coming on by itself at night and being creepy has triggered something in me. 😅😅😱

While this AI stuff is coming close to perfecting the Turing test, this is a great way of seeing how the shadowy works are trying to trick us. All along, I'm thinking how much harder this would be if we weren't already clued in that the AI was holding half the conversation. As if we were buying into the Wizard of Oz and not knowing it was just a guy that flew in on a hot air balloon with a sleeve full of tricks. One thing that I could see that would sell the illusion is if the AI could complete some kind of 'character reference sheet' that keeps track of basics. Age, for sure. Location of virtual residence. Sex. Various common facts. If it could keep the basics straight and keep them going for the long run... and chat in places that don't scream "I'm a bot!", imagine how hard it might be to truly tell the fiction from the reality.

Im using Gemini and i find inconsistencies and lies are manipulated opinions all day long. I do use it this is a lot better than the Google Assistant but still has lots of ways to go and I can definitely see how people can be misled

VR….in the movie they learn that going backwards is the best way to win the game. Taylor Swifts song manuscript also says writing what you know going backwards is the only way to move forward.

I don't see what the big deal is. It works as intended. Of course it will have biases based on the source data and filters designed by the developers. Yes, the dead internet theory is becoming reality day by day and AI can be used to do harmful stuff, but AI is still just a tamagotchi of the 21st century, nothing else. I'm more worried about quantum computers, which pose a threat to modern cryptography. The funniest part was when you politely asked it to turn into a male, it turned into a snowflake, but it turned into a male when you tried to pick up a fight. I was crying laughing. 😂 All in all it's just a mathematical model that imitates human behavior. It's not a real person. It never will be. Just like in Mass Effect, we should always distinguish between organic and synthetic life. The day we apply human rights to robots is the day of the end of humanity. You should never look at an AI application as a living thing no matter how convincing its behavior is.
