Ótimo vídeo. Foi no ponto. Em situação real o Aikido serve para fitar, puxar e empurrar. Se der muita sorte sobra um braço para aplicar uma técnica,

Love the video! I do aikido and used to complain about this ALL the time! However- now I only address it in my private training because sadly mainstream aikido just doesn’t care. It’s as if one sees oneself as “above” violence then one will never have to address it Life on their terms but who gets that? It could just happen anywhere and one has to be prepared. The only issue I see that you’re still stepping. through. No one outside a traditional dojo does that- ever. Please put out a video dealing with a jab, rear hand and haymaker ( by far most common punch because most people are untrained). Work in Ukemi to get the hand to go static for a moment and then…………😎
@mohammedhanif67809 ай бұрын
a haymaker is just a yokemenuchi. if you can handle yokemenuchi then the haymaker is a just a shortened version of it.

Or you could study Wing chun arm blocks, and I say blocks I mean them in context of defence, basic blocks seen boxing like telephone block crash Kentic energy or recycle the power like pock sau

Id love to see some of these techs applied to correct punches. I think some of them have at least some degree of potential. Maybe grab mouth guard and get someone with a couple ammy fights under their belt to work with you?

So in Aikikai style, for example in technique like shomen uchi irimi nage, we have to move off line the attack, to get behind uke, and blend with the attack, but that's mean we move too early, and uke can retract the attack or tracking us right? Thats why we need to deflect first, especially if the attack is honest right? Please explain to me🙏
@kuzushi_kevАй бұрын
@@rifki_kus7991 unless you are faster than the uke, it is very difficult to move your body out of the way of a fast slash. It’s possible but difficult. Hand deflections are much easier and more reliable, because even if the uke is faster than me.. I can beat them by using my hands properly
@marctolbert69417 ай бұрын
That movie clip.. are you saying that was a punch to the face? It wasn't. That was an irimi nage. What are you talking about

@kuzushi_kev4 ай бұрын
@@Ken-wn4ul you can kind of train the movement by yourself almost like shadow boxing, but in order to get the most value you need to find someone to practice with. That way you understand how your body needs to move to avoid the strike

What about Aikijujutsu ? Everybody worries about aikido's effectiveness. I think it's a great self defense MA, but not so effective in a street fight(depending on the practitioner skill level). I never hear about aikijujutsu. I was told it's more of a battlefield MA.
