What type of Aikido is this? I hope it is not Iwama ryu, because in this case it is wrong. Remember that O'Sensei said: itsumo hanmi desu. Ever in hanmi position.

Good video. Thanks. I have one suggestion, if you manually add subtitles afterwards it will be easier to hear on some parts. As you stand far away in a big training area it can sometimes be little hard to make out what you say.

I like your detailed lessons. But it would be better if someone zoomed a bit to get a closer look on your hands and feet. And a better microphone or sound. There is some echo. Wish you the best :)

There are many things in many Aikido-Jo-Style wich lost the functionality of the jo. I love the tricky aikido-jo technics, when opponent is grapping the jo. This is a development of Jomovements. But the most jo suburi is crap. It makes no sense to move the jo "aiki like" when the endo of the movement is a demaging hit. That is not aikido, that is hitting, striking and jo fighting. Many aikido people forget this when doing. Thats why the jo should be handled like an jo. Question to you 15:00 you said "cutting like a sword" Why? Its a Jo, a wooden round staff, the jo can not cut! In that case the jo lost energie and the stricke will be crap. So many aikidoka are cutting with the jo, i don`t know why. (With boken its same, but, and thats the differenz: the boken you can use for train cutting like a sword, that will make the practice saver. Or other wise you can use the boken like it is and you can train hitting to. So the sense of boken training can make the cutting or not. But cutting with jo makes no sense.)
