The studio version is worth listening to because this song is so musically insane. During the concert version you may think some of the dramatic melodic changes are just poor sound recording, when in fact they are entirely intentional. This song is a perfect descent into goblin mode, and only the crisp quality of a studio drags you into that particular insanity.

Hey, glad you had a good time. Other people didn't/ Not your fault as far as I know. There were police reports of rape and other sexual assaults on under age girls and women. I'm gen X, this is my "generation" as it were and frankly they fucking failed. But hey, as long as you had a good time, that's what counts. From one of the numerous reports after the fact. “I saw someone push this girl into the mosh pit, a very skinny girl, maybe 90 to 100 pounds,” he said. “Then a couple of the guys started taking her clothes off - not so much her top but her bottom. They pulled her pants down and they were violating her, and they were passing her back and forth. There were five guys that were raping this girl and having sex with her.” A 24-year-old woman from Pittsburgh claimed that during Limp Bizkit’s set two men assaulted her with their fingers and “some type of foreign object,” before one of them raped her. In the Netflix documentary, the production manager of the rave hanger also details how he discovered an unconscious, unclothed, underage girl in the back of a van that had been driven into the crowd during Fatboy Slim’s set. She required immediate medical attention. So yeah, Fook what I've heard.

Awesome! One of their most iconic songs (pretty much the birth of nu-metal, being Korn's first single back in 1994) and one of their most famous performances as well. Definitely check out the album version too, when you get a chance. This live version is great, especially seeing the crazy energy Korn has live. But I think the album version is incredible, and you can hear little details more clearly. Particularly the vocal layering, how the guitars sound and how they were mixed sounds even better in the studio (in my opinion), how Jonathan sings the "What if I should die?" part (since during their concerts the audience always sings that section), the way each instrument slowly adds to the explosive intro, a particular snare drum sound that is also on Slipknot's self-titled album (Korn and Slipknot had the same producer for their major label debut albums), and a short instrumental outro that isn't on the live version. Sorry, I know that was long-winded, haha. I just love their self-titled album and how it sounds.

I remember seeing Korn live. I won tickets from a radio station when I was 13. First concert I ever went to Korn and Rob Zombie (Rock is Dead tour). Had so much fun. There was an NSYNC concert going on at the same time 15 minutes away and John Davis made some comments that made the whole night for me as a 13 year old.

I get the chills every time I watch this video with Jonathan singing "Are you ready!!" and the crowd goes nuts. Pure in the moment reaction by all of them.

It was 1994, I was 13. My cousin and I were at a small record store and the guy at the counter gave us both a CD of the single Blind... I was still trying to find myself, who I was and it was in that "ARRRE YOU READY!" that I no longer felt lost. Since that day and to this day, KoRn sits above any other artist/band for me.
