To add on to my earlier statement I just wanted to share some "food for thought" on some Metal I think you could get into AS. Try to give some of these a listen to if you get a chance I think you'd really dig them or at least some of them. Celtic Frost - "Circle of Tyrants" and "Wine in my Hand" could probably be considered the grandfather of this type of metal that would share similarities with Knocked Loose. I also think you'd like "Dethroned Emperor" by them as well. Now, just some more awesome metal for you to give a try: Annihilator "Armed to the Teeth" I think you'd really like this one; "Alison Hell" is from late 80's early 90's. Testament "Electric Crown" has an awesome start and is an awesome song! If you want to hear the grandfather of thrash metal you can start with Slayer "Angel of Death", of course some Sepultura "Intro and Arise - Live in 1991" will melt your face off. Again, thrash was never my first like, but there were days that thrash really get me through the day. Anthrax will rock your world! Give a listen to "Got the time", "Who Cares Wins", "Madhouse" are all awesome! Then give a listen to their combo with Public Enemy "Bring the Noise" it blew our minds when they paired together for that song! Exodus "Toxic Waltz" is awesome! Hell, here is my current playlist for Metal: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pGTbdGR_Z9eLfqc My anthem forever when it came out was and is still "Kickstart my heart" by good 'ol Motley Crue! I used to run listen to this stuff while doing some cross country running on my own and it always set my blood on fire! Still does to this day. A super awesome band to try out is Suicidal Tendencies "You can't bring me down!" And of course there's the obligatory trifecta of Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax! And you can never forget Motorhead! Lemmy rulez! Especially start with "Ace of Spades!" And lastly, at least for now DANZIG!!!! MANOWAR!!! and WASP!!!! Sorry this is so long, but felt like the right place to write it. Have a good evening! Stay safe and have fun! Eff it. Exodus: Toxic Waltz: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pGTbdGR_Z9eLfqcsi=X9kQ39sMiVX5OcmW Annihilator: Armed to the Teeth: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rKOqZaFulr-Kf7csi=eOc_fTtH43KGugqy

Well for once I have to diverge. Being into Heavy Metal/ 70's/ 80's/90's early metal, Melodic Metal, up into Thrash metal from the beginning, I never could get into the whole screamcore, grindcore esthetic. I know it has a definite audience that it speaks to, but I just couldn't get into it. Celtic Frost, some King Diamond, some early Annihilator were approaching my limits back then. Heavy Metal fit right in for me when I was in the Marines from 1989 - 1993 and sometimes the thrash metal was just soothing and would put me to sleep, lol. Hope no one takes offense, but to me the songs of this album sounded very similar to each other, with a few different parts thrown in that it just doesn't work for me. It was cool to see you share some metal that you really like and I literally hope you all enjoy the album because no matter what, it is always cool to find something hard and heavy that speaks to you. Metal is forever, Metal is eternal! I just couldn't get into it. But I can appreciate those that have a passion for what they love, even if it's not my cup of tea, per se. No matter what, Metal is Metal so rock on everyone! :) I like that you review a lot of music and ultimately share your passions with the world. Keep up the great work!
@DefaultName-du3kr7 ай бұрын
If you still like Celtic Frost check out Triptykon. Tommy Warrior leads both bands and Triptykon is more melodic/doom metal. Hellhammer might also be up your lane, it's Thrash Metal with some early Black Metal sounds mixed in.

@@DefaultName-du3kr Very cool and thank you for the info. I'll have to check 'em out.

@@gunrunner35 No prob man. Harsh vocals isn't something everyone should jump into but the bands that were doing it in the 80s like Death and Hellhammer weren't in a loudness competition so it might be better for your tastes. Most of them were also Thrash + Proto (sub-genre here. )
