This is studio recorded and mixed, probably even mastered for commercial volume. Listen to the chamber reverb on the vocals and the close-miking of the lead vocals and bass vocal. You don't get that kind of presence and bass response from a shotgun mic, nor do you get that kind of reverb from a forest. Not to mention the lack of wind. Even if using hidden lavs, there'd be a lack of vocal clarity underneath clothing contending with wind. There's also a resounding lack of performance for the bass part in question. "Orange shirt" is on the "shoo-doo-wops" vocals lines while the beatboxing "white shirt" is expressing no form of breath or movement for the bass parts. And to be even more nitpicky, "polka dot" dress on the far left is not showing the physical exertion necessary for such projection around 1:58 for the reprise/response section after the double-time break. All that said... I really quite enjoy it. Lovely performances, great sounding mix and fun video. One of my favorite songs from one of my absolute favorite artists. Great interpretation and arrangement! :)
