Very beautiful sound and musicianship! Saw all of your videos and waiting for some new! Congratulations and greetings from an ex-Trombone player (who is starting again definitely!)

Absolutely, I enjoyed it alo - one more time. This is form an ex-trombone player not loving the tuba a little more.

I like your relaxed sound and smooth articulation. Chilling out. Let me skip the comment about battering your bone. Great performance :)

Very nice man, but definitely not going to be doing a percussion solo like that on my horn😮

Don‘t worry! I did not sacrifice my trombone for this video. 😇 Because of using an Edding-pen (which did get a lot of bruises) who was a lot softer, the trombone did not get any scratches - dispite of practicing this quite a bit 😉

💕 it! I have that exact model horn too! And most of the CL MP sizes. Is that the 4CL?

Hey, congratulations! I still like my trombone a lot! 👍🏻 It‘s the 2CL...

Fantastic, but you need a smaller mouthpiece, but what do I know.

I guess what I'm saying is that the low range stuff is like, whatever, your mid range stuff is epic and deserves that touch of shallowness that a smaller bore mouthpiece would give you. Brighten the tone and amplify the range you excel in. Again, I'm just a carpenter, so what do I know...

@@johnhighstreet5199 Cords are built bottom up, songs are sort of the same way. Having really good low notes sets mid-range and upper range notes. But as you say, I'm not professionally trained so what do I know. I know this much, I'm inspired to go play this for myself. :-)

Hey, thanks for liking and commenting! I‘m a trained classical player and you are right that from a Bigband/Jazz-point of view this is really big stuff (probably also the trombone). 🤪
@christophballach50632 жыл бұрын
@@johnhighstreet5199 I rather love a big round tone, thus do not see, how a smaller mouthpiece could be of benefit.

It's a great tone, I was just thinking for a brighter clarity. Still, brilliant.

Great stuff but i can't watch him beating on his trombone.
