Hi Lee, I've stumbled across your video, but glad I did. I have an Ultimate Sporter S510. I'm a postie of over thirty years. I love my Air rifle, just adore it. It's accurate and works fantastic. I agree too, that getting out into the field, shooting, is a great stress buster. Just being amongst nature, beside old, tall trees, feeling the breeze on your face, seeing all manner of wildlife is just fantastic. I agree, Air Arms are a great manufacturer and very customer loyal. I've written to Mrs West, who was extremely helpful and considerate. Air Arms helped me no end, and to them, I'm very grateful. I think it's great, Mrs West, makes herself available to speak to, for ordinary folks like ourselves. I like having the opportunity to speak to those people too. Best wishes, Ian.

Thanks Ian for your comment every time I go out with the air arms s510 us it feels special and the stress of Christmas pressure and strikes it's even more essential to escape into the field for a shooting session. Hope you've had a nice Christmas and Santa's been kind take care my friend.

@Lee Smith Hi Lee, Thankyou for your message and great to hear from you. It's nice to have something in common with someone. I'm shortly out to do some target practice. Just keeping an eye on the weather and breeze/wind. I feel I've needed that escape that our hobby brings. Things generally not great at the moment, and the weather this time of the year is just another inconvenient discomfort to us. I have all the kit I need now, and I just need the weather and time and health to enjoy it. I'm hoping a resolution can be achieved with our strikes. Something has to change. We, the working class, have carried the can for long enough, while those much higher sit with their feet up, noses in the trough, drinking champagne and munching caviar, telling lies to cover their tracks. It's done its time and has to stop now. If everything was accounted for properly, we could all live in harmony, 60/40, I'd settle for. Not 95/5, which is what it is at the moment. Thank the heavens for guys like Dave Ward and Mick Lynch. Honest people to the core, wanting a fair deal for everyone, not just the disgusting, thieving, faceless pigs at the top, who spend their hideous lives hiding and squaring their wealth away in off shore accounts, avoiding paying their rightful taxes, which would be fair and help us all. Respect, my friend. Take care, Ian.

@@ianwoods1384 Thanks Ian hope your little rant has released some tension I totally agree with you in everything you say .When I look back on my life it's with agreat sence of achievement I've had to work very hard for every single thing I've done hard manual work for over forty years so to see such greed is upsetting but the realizations that people are people and things will never change I just enjoy everything I've got .There's my rant out the way thanks again Ian just keep shooting and enjoy.

HI Lee, thanks for the video, I'm torn between purchasing the HW100 carbine or the s510 regulated, both are really great rifles... what are your thoughts? Nigel
@leesmith30812 жыл бұрын
Hi Nigel thanks for commenting my personal recommendation is the s510 because in my experience air arms are more reliable and easy to service not sure about the regulator in the s510 reg but knowing how the company looks after its customers it will be soon sorted if anything went wrong .I will put my hands up and say the weihrauch hw100 is probably better made engineering wise but that is also the problem sometimes too many seal areas to leak my first 100 was one of the earlier models and I had no end of leaks from it sent back to hull cartridge so many times so when I bought a new one 13years later and that one also leaked I was disappointed to say the least so forget what you see on the media sites that the weihrauch hw100 is more accurate it's not true my s510 will out shot any weihrauch 100 that I've had in my hands and I've shot lots also when you buy a s510 it will still shoot great a long time from now hope this helps .

Hello Lee, great review/video. 👍 I’m looking at buying a scope for my Diana P1000 EVO2 and the Airmax is on my list. Has the parallax wheel already got the distances printed on it from the factory or have you done that? Any update on its use as to if you still rate it as highly. Many Thanks. Phil. 👍🇬🇧

Hi Phil sorry haven't got back earlier been away on holiday The hawke airmax touch has the distance Mark's on it from factory and unlike some scopes these do correspond to the right distance still pleased with the scope and it's still amazes me every time I shoot with it I've also would recommend the mtc genesis 5x20x50 if you don't like the close eye relief of the hawke hope this helps you. Lee😊

Buy the R version it's much more accurate I have the Galahad R in 177 and the accuracy is unbelievable. Every shot is the sweet spot
