In today’s video, I am listening to Twenty One Pilots Air Catcher for the first time in my newest Twenty One Pilots reaction. TOP reactions are always some of the most versatile ones for me as this band always brings something new. I love doin g these reaction videos to Twenty One Pilots as their songs are just incredible. This metalhead certainly loves and appreciates a good Twenty One Pilots song and especially one as versatile as this. These guys are incredibly talented so I am always loving listening to their songs for the first time as this metalhead reacts to Twenty One Pilots.

The entire first record from 2009 is worth your time to check out. Its pre Josh. Maybe try "Addict with a Pen" next from this record. Instead of the record version, do UG studios session. Tylers performance of song coveys the message of the song way more than the recorded version. Josh is in this one as well.

This "Self-Titled" collection was not professionally produced. It was recorded in the basement, and just sold / handed out at local shows. Two years ago Tyler denied this being a Twenty One Pilots album, calling ST and RAB "glorified mix tapes". Many fans did not like this comment, but I think Tyler just felt they could be better. I wonder what they would sould like if he released them today. Very few songs from ST and RAB have made it on my playlist - I don't dislike Air Catcher, but it still didn't make the cut. That said, i had to listen and hear what you had too say about this one. Thanks!

Genre- pure twenty one pilots genre😂😂 This is one of my faves from that album. I love the pure raw emotion in it- that comes from opening up to someone & letting them in even though you know that it makes you vulnerable. Tyler’s piano is always amazing. Can’t recall what you have already done but Fairly Local, trees live at fox as already suggested & if you want to see exactly what Tyler can do with his skills do both versions of The Hype -album version first & compare it to the Berlin version 😄. Also still recommend Royal Blood- Out of the Black & more Palaye Royale😁😁😁😁

This was actually off top first album before Josh was even a member - it had two other members and Tyler at this point so it does sound a little different Id still recommend doing Trees (Live from Fox Theater)

@@cudahitz it's cool to go back and listen to them that long ago - you can still hear the beginnings of what they are now with the cryptic lyrics, piano, and tempo switches - the "air catcher" is basically his ability to be cautious and fall slowly in love and not give a person the access to his heart so that he would fall in love hard - and in this song by the end he decides to give this person those tools that can destroy his heart and this person has stolen his "air catcher" so he's not able to take his time and he's willing to fall hard for them - it's kind of a precursor to Tear in My Heart (which i'm not sure you've done yet) which is about how his wife has the ability to destroy his heart b/c he's let her in - a very unique way to describe falling in love
