Air Conditioner Circuit Breaker Keeps Tripping!

Danger!! Do not attempt this repair.
Please call a certified electrician!
During 100-deg weather, the A/C compressor and fan in the unit would stop working. When the circuit breaker was checked, it wasn’t “tripped.” Re-setting the circuit breaker would allow the A/C to work again for a few days until it happened again. This told me the internals of the circuit breaker were faulty.

A little electrical stab lubricant or some NoAlOx on those bus bar connections for all breaker stabs would have been nice. Also, on the wire attachment clamps. Just keeps corrosion down and keeps your investment working longer for you.
