I was lookin to enlist so i came to see what i sjould bring. Probably to late to tell you this but yes TX heat can destroy your skin lol. I dont even like the summer outdoors here but my skin tone on my body no longer matches after moving here in the late 90s as a kid

I can remember a few really really awful days, but for the most part it wasn't super hot. I think there was a few days where I got sunburnt. One of them being BEAST week though

so in the DEP app is says no aerosol products and I'm having trouble finding non-aerosol shaving creams that are 3.4 oz to follow the TSA regulations, so I was wondering if you know of any or if you're just gonna take an aerosol shaving cream?

I think any shaving cream will be okay as long as its under that TSA regulation. I originally bought 2 cans of Schick Edge shaving gel from Wal-Mart the cans are kind of bulky and each one is 2.75 oz. At a different Wal-Mart I found 2 cans Barbasol shaving cream, each one is only 2 oz and they are much smaller and more travel friendly. I think anything you find under that 3.4 oz threshold will be fine. I went with the smaller cans for saving a tiny bit of packing space personally. Hope this helps!

@@chanchanmanusaf3144 yeah thanks, I'm not sure why they'd put no aerosol products if it's allowed by TSA, my only concern is that they'd take it away once I get there but I've seen multiple packing videos where people use aerosol shaving cream/gel so I'm sure it's fine but thanks this helped!

@@Efficient_Mango So as an update me getting to BMT they told us we were not allowed to use aerosol products. They let us keep what we brought but on our first BX visit we are required to buy the non-aerosol shaving cream they provide. If you brought small cans, you should he able to use most if not all of it prior to that BX visit.

@@soiceygang6649 Hopefully you'll get one soon, I know dudes who have waited upwards of a year to get out. I know covid has been making everything more difficult as well. I'm going on 10 months of DEP myself. Excited to go to say the least
