Thanks man! My recruiter didn’t have much information on bmt during Covid so this is a big help. I’m just waiting for my job contact so hopefully I’ll be leaving sometime in January. Not sure if these restrictions will still be up by that time.

My son is in WOT2 and there are lots of videos out there about BMT, but with COVID-19, so many of them are not relevant anymore. They will prescribe you glasses if you wear them most likely, and we got 2 haircuts ur supposed to get 3 but we skipped out on the last one. And during first week there you will receive your brand new shaved head lol

Yes usually that is how it goes, maybe her phone was dead or they didn’t let them call so I would expect her address in the mail until they allow her another call.

I live near Lackland and the river walk used to always be flooded with new graduates. Do they still allow that liberty during the pandemic after graduating?

When I went through basic training it was taken out due to the pandemic unsure if it has been reinstated but if I had to guess right now it would be a no. Eventually it will come back.

MadMan Vlogs I have a PT video out on my channel, you do a PT test at BMT and then eventually will have to be tested for your PT scores again. Either 6 months or 1 year later based on your previous score.

We are not getting leave at all, they said we can ask about leave at our first duty station and it’s up to them when we get it.

No you are first placed in a 2 week quarantine process and then tested. If you test positive the entire flight gets delayed sadly and back to quarantine y’all go.

Yes you can always shoot again and try to get marksman certified. And depends what requirements for graduation?

@@AirmanNick drill, rank, weapon, pt, uniform, reporting exams pretty much all of it. Like if you don't meet the requirements yet do you get more time before like the final week or not at all?

@@IECGUY you will a redo on all of those and if u fail it again or multiple times you get washed back two weeks into another flight and eventually will try again but you will pass all of those easily.
