I purchased this air fryer brand on Amazon Prime Day with the 6.5 liter capacity, and a electronic touchscreen for pretty cheap... $40+tax. I don’t like it because the handle, and the rest of the exterior get way too damn hot. My other one (a brand by the name of TidyLife), doesn’t get that hot on the outside, so I don’t know what the hell is going on with the new one.

@@roselsimpson858 Naw, we're gonna keep it since it was such a deal. I just checked it's price before I responded back to you, and it's back up to the regular price of $90...I paid $40+tax. Anyway, I figured out why it gets so much hotter on the outside than our other one. Since both are rated at 1700 wattage of power, I figured that the difference is in the fan sizes. The fan in the Chefman air fryer is significantly larger than the one in the other one, even though it's not that much larger in capacity...6.5 liters vs 5.8 liters. I guess that bigger fan has to be the reason. And I love that electronic touchscreen control... even tho I bet you it goes out soon, but what can you do?

Love the video Rosie and LOVE my little Chefman. Clean chicken wings with that Crisp. I put my seasoning like rosemary or garlic on after they cook up. Easy cleaning and Wings on Demand! Perfect product sir.

If you are referring to the little round tray, that goes in the bottom for things like pizza's fish sticks for airflow. I hope that was helpful

Good question, we bring laptops, speakers, gaming devices etc. If it makes it thru surveillance I don't see why not

Is it ok to set the unit on a formica kitchen counter? Does it get hot on the outside? What about if you want to fry eggs? Or is just for veggies and meat?

My formica has started to take a hit but I do not believe it's from this unit so I believe it is formica safe. The outside is cool to the touch but the inside is piping hot, have yet to try to fry and egg but for me I think the basket is too small and would only fry one egg at a time not worth it for me. I just got this air fryer I clean the inside tray I turned it on and there's like a burning plastic smell is that normal

Yes any new produce will most likely have that smell it's burning off any packing material and chemicals turn it on a few times for 5 minutes or so let it cool off wash it again and the smell should go away

Excellent video and very informative but I kinda wished you could of told how the chicken turned out. Whether it was fully cooked, dry, juicy or what. I want to know how the food actually tastes. But other than that I appreciated all the info you gave

Funny you should say that, in the video that is dropping today i ask that very question. When i review a product do you prefer to see it in action so i guess you helped to answer that question. The Chicken was excellent but that air fryer was too small for my needs so i took it back to mother n law. Thanks for the input.

You should experience that new appliance smell at first, after that a delicious chicken or food smell but not that deep fried kind of burnt smell
