Feral pigeons making a mess of an overpass and the parking lot beneath it - what else is new...

I used to have that problem on my driveway and porch steps, and the more liquid sort landing on my truck. Great shooting as always. It seems that harder pellets as H&N shoot really good from the Cricket, are they also good from the L2? Unfortunately they are not quite available in Spain

That's pretty kool 😎I remember shooting some pigeons under a bridge when I was about 15 yrs old in San Antonio TX with a sling shot it was pretty easy ... then the park ranger came and asked my friend and I what we were doing we thought we were in big trouble lol we didn't say anything...then he saw all the dead pigeons on the ground 🤣 he said good Job because them birds make a mess and just told us to clean up after we were done lol thanks for sharing Alex be safe buddy

I live in the San Antonio area. I'm constantly looking around thinking "if only I could take out my air gun right now...". Unfortunately, I don't think the park police would be on board with me taking out pigeons w/an air rifle around all the tourists or along the trail systems with kids and Karen's strolling by. Same applies to all the grackles in the parking lots. Oh, sweet targets, just out of legal reach!!

Henry that would depend on the pellet/slug weight too. For instance, the most I had with the 25.39 grain Redesigneds, was 40 fpe.

They take off but come back before long, mate. They won't take off if you shoot them at night where they roost. Very poor vision at night so they prefer to stay put, even when they hear the shots and impact.

Well, first of all I would suggest to see if it legal to shoot feral pigeons in your country. If it is and you're adept enough with your air rifle, go for it.

For a caliber (6.35) you need a permit, certificate or something, or you can freely buy such a rifle in your country? For example, in my country (Ukraine) only caliber 4.5mm is available for free sale, for 5.5 - 6.35 you need to get a certificate like for firearms weapons.
