I’m not mad either way, but putting the 23 back there in 2010 was not a mistake. It was correcting a mistake and would make these look that much better. That said these are one of the best releases of the year.

Not inaccurate either because the alter ego wore #23 for the Mystics. Check out the Air Jordan 9 commercial from 1994.

Another dope breakdown and review. Was on the bench with these when I saw the shade of blue but the blue cuts on the leather sold me on these! 9s are my favorite Jordan silhouette and playoff colorway is my 2nd favorite Jordan! Can’t wait to double up on olives! I think they’re Cord laces btw man.

I feel like the blue on the 2010 is more in-line to the OG but everything else on the 2024 pair is more in-line to the OG. Sometimes I really wish when the decide they are going to retro a silhouette that they use archived DS OGs to model the retros after!

DJ I forgot to ask you , did you go up half size on these. I had so much different sizing tips , most 1/2 size up. Some tts. I’m going to UN.DS this week. Praying fits. Like I like , wiggle room, i tie my kicks, loose laced but not untied. Other thing, bruh how did people hoop in these, remember zoom air was already being applied in late 94 w the Zoom Rookie 95. But people were balling hard in 9 P.E.s some to this day. P.J. Tucker played in Kobe PE 9s one night while playing w Milwaukee & in Purple Ray Allen 1998 Big Dog Bucks Jerseys they looked great, but they’re same weight as some Timbs no cap , Peace DJ Big DEA keep it up 👍. *yeah DJ just curious because I know size 13s are hard to come by for decent prices as well. I remember it used to be size 89 9 1/2 were the real expensive shoes in the big sizes were cheap now it’s completely flipped.

I like mine, but I don't. Tbh, these powder blues are my first pair of 9s and I guess I was expecting better and softer leather especially for the price. I also don't like the fact that I have part of the shoes stitching digging into my small toe and the fact that they feel like stiff bricks when walking in them. Lol. Won't be something I wear often but will certainly be keeping them in the collection. Awesome vid and review of the powder blue Jordan 9s.
