Really cool trick, do you just use standard thinner to clean the airbrush afterwards?

Steve Stannard I just clean my brush with automotive thinners.

What clear coat do you use to protect the chrome?

I have tried a few with no luck, they all tend to take to chrome effect off and it just ends up looking silver, i have only been using this stuff on touching up chrome and interiors where you won’t ever touch it.

Do you think you would get a better reflection with a glossy black base? Also, what do you suggest for a top clear gloss coat so that it doesnt dull over time? Thanks!

Haven’t noticed any difference with a black base, but it does look better on a smooth surface, any lumps and bumps show up, I haven’t found any clear coats that work with it, they tend to make it just look silver not chrome, i have heard Spaztix clear works and it stays chrome.

Why didn’t you just unscrew the top part? You do know they are refillable right?

Yes i do know that now, this video was along time ago when they first came out, but next time i did discover the screw top.

In your video, the painted wheels look waaay more weak than the factory chrome.

but the factory chrome looks cheap most of the time.
