The Lear used a common technique called forward side slipping. You jam on the rudder and apply opposite aileron while pointing the nose down, this increases a lot of drag, but allows you to maintain approach airspeed, neither increasing or decreasing, so you drop right down onto the glide path. It's fun to do and competely safe.

Whoever filmed the Lear knows nothing. That was a very nicely done forward slip. It allows you to drop a lot of altitude in a hurry while maintaining your line of travel and not gaining speed. That is a well trained and skilled pilot at work.

It is obviously photographed at Toulouse, where the A350 is manufactured. This was likely a 90-knot Rejected Takeoff (RTO), which is part of the pre-flight plan before the initial test flight of the A/C. You want to find out if the braking system works on the ground first before taking to the sky on the initial flight in case there's an issue.
