I respect his vision for doing something totally different. Fair play, it is! That front end does need a revision tho, the front wings (fenders) flapping about in the wind is frankly shoddy, but it could be made to work with a little more thought / fabrication. 👍

Just as an addendum to the above, the original mk1 BBS body kits, had a kinda squared off arch which could be copied in sheet steel to allow for the ride height & width of the wheels, then the wings / fenders could be properly attached, and made to align with the doors / bonnet, whilst still keeping the OEM(ish) Mk1 front end look. Just a thought... 👍

@@SkidMarksZA reminds me of a car I once had, 89 VW Fox GL Wagon. The car is fwd, but engine is set longitudinal... Transmission is a transaxle. Basically a mix of Audi and VW design's from over 30 years worth of collected engineering. Love and dearly miss that car. But my thinking is crazy level... Because what if we take this concept of the Bradley kit car a step further... What if the shell is quite literally a fusion like an old school old school hot rod? Lights frenched for example is something we can easy do with plastics today so how wild can this get? Should I look into my local junk yards for parts because I got a vision...

That fenders irritates the shit out of me flapping like that and the exhaust could have been kept original with a super fast engine still located in the FRONT... Plenty of these totally rusted out useless shells out there. Yes the scraping is very cringy, but the paint is clean, I love the "aircooled" decal and the beetle engine back there looks funky :D Idea about easily swapping front ends is also something that has to be loved. By saving it I mean that he worked hard to build something he really likes. It feels wrong for me to hate on something that another car guy loves so much. I might not respect everything about the car, but I respect him because of all the work.
