I own the Spartan version and I'm very happy with it. My favorite plinker for my backyard next to my Crossman AK1. I personally love the CO2 loading and unloading process. I've never had an issue either route. Thank you for another great review!

I love my AK1. The SBR is a close second though. I went with the "We The People" sig instead of the Spartan only for the clip/magazine. Very nice plinkers all around.

I was in between this model & the ‘We the people’ 1911. I went with the ‘We the people’. Cosmetically its a beauty & a serious fun plinker. No soda cans are left standing.

Nice review, thanks. I have the Moulon Labe and I agree about the safety, it threw me for a curve when I first got the gun and could not release the safety! I love 1911's and added this one because it looks so darn cool.

Great review! I just got a Spartan and must respectfully disagree with the CO2 loading being problematic. Personally, I think it's a genius solution and as long as you 'snap' the cantilever closed no (or very, very, little) CO2 is lost .. plus it's a *very* fast swap out. Oh, yea, the safety with a safety threw me a bit when I first saw/tried it. Took no time to adapt to though and I 'think' it's more a 'childproof' setup intended to force one to 'commit' to the safety being disengaged. Minor (very) things aside I find this an excellent platform which imho will be tough to beat for ~$85. Cheers!

Those life like pistols are nice if you want something realistic. I tend to shy away from them simply because you usually get less shot count due to it (co2) being 'wasted' to run the function Great review as usual! Thanks

Hi JC, two more good replicas 1911, I bought for my nephew a Sig Sauer Spartan , it's been a few years now and never had any problems, But really at first, it was a pain to change the Co2 .. JC o my Nitro is six months old, he is beautiful. later i will send you some pictures. cheers

I have 2 of the 1911, the Spartan model. Funny thing when I ordered one it never showed up until about a month and a half later. They refunded my order and sent another one. Then had 2 show up in the mail. Pretty cool C02 guns

I am a big fan of Sigs 1911 co2:s and i own the Spartan and the new emperor Scorpion. For me a laser was a must on the spartan because it shot low. The plastic magasines feels flimsy but work. The Emperor scorpion has the full size dropout co2 mag and ambi safety and feels like a more closer replica, both are great guns thou!🔫👍

I have a sig sauer spartan and its a really good powerful pistol. Im not too keen on the stick mag but everything else is well done. Absolutely love the spartan graphics too. I asked the max Mitchell is the same thing

The Max is the same gun except for the flat trigger, different grips and color. Japanese built. Pretty solid guns. Happy Shooting 👍

Thank's again JC. I wish all manufacturers would have adjustable rear sights on all the models. Come on, how much more would it cost ? To me, a gun without an adjustable sight is like a car without a proper steering wheel. :-)

I totally agree...many of these airgun platforms have been around for years so besides basic cosmetics, they don't put in the effort to redesign the slides to accommodate adjustable sights. Umarex now has a few modes that you can adjust windage. So we are making a little progress. Thanks for watching 👍

I really regret I did not buy the MM 1911 when I had the chance. The Spartan do seem to be more sold of - probably because of manufactured more of do have it's say in the matter. My biggest issue/con with these probably is that added safety on the safety. No idea what they were thinking. Never seen sucha thing on other 1911s. But I'd still want the MM 1911 - and the new Emperor Scorpion. The We The People would be nice also of course. But; just already having a KWC manufactured 1911 gives the feeling of buying just the same thing over and over again - especially when low on cash.🤣 Not gonna buy the Spartan - but if I ever see a MM 1911 - then I might buy it. Definitely wanna try that co2 loading system.

I find that stupid little button that you have to press in on the Spartan before you can take it off the safety very frustrating. Also I can't find any instruction on how to de-caulk it.

Not a bad looking pistol but the fact it does not shoot at the POI is a deal breaker for me! I already have cheaper pistols with this "feature" I have still yet to find the perfect blowback for me!
