After dozens of reviews I finally pulled the trigger on the said pistol 🔫 and no regrets plus the price was right since I live in Canada 🇨🇦 everything is expensive than in USA 🇺🇸. I am familiar with the rotary clip(Gamo P430 and many others) and was surprised to see it was made in Japan 🇯🇵.Didn’t get a lemon 🍋 it shoots good and accurately with nice kick,no jams.Now no more guns,it’s addictive…Enjoy.

I was one of the more unlucky ones. My P226 ASP had a loose outer barrel right from the start - as many other owners of this particular replica has had also. My P226 shot approx 7 inch sized random "groups" on paper from approx 18ft. But I fixed mine and nowadays shoots spot on. The power output was quite inconsistent on mine also as new - but it somehow sorted itself out by just shooting it in over time. The pellet bores in the mag seemed to vary a bit I guess - but Crosman pellets seem to sit a bit tighter and they do not tend to fall out from the mag (as some of my RWSs did). I do like my P226 nowadays. Probably the only a bit ittitating with this Sig for me must be the clanky sound of the slide. The slide probably is a bit on the heavier side - but imo the slide's spring was not stiff enough (or at least on mine). I personally do like these 8+8 shot stickmags very much. Never had a pellet jam or feeding issue myself with pistols that uses these kind of magazines. The best thing with this one must be the hefty feel of it. And a working decocker is just sweet!😊👍

Is it still treating you good I’m thinking of that or the Umerex HKVP9 what would you suggest?
@brorjordas1979 Жыл бұрын
@@shaunsunderland7223 That is a tough one. I am a big fan of both Sig Sauer and HK. My P226 has held up well. Had just the loose barrel and low power valve issues to fix first. I love the VP9. Good ergonomics. The issue that may occur on an UX VP9 is that the lock open lever may wear against the slide and it may not always lock open to 100% at last shot (low gas as a reason excluded here, of course). But the overall performance of the VP9 is awesome imo - even rhough the trigger reset is long due to the firing mechanisms.

I watched your video on the X-five ASP, this seems to shoot a little bit hotter but yes the temps were cooler when you made that video. i wished i would have seen this video before i purchased something to replace the pt-85 i got rid of, the way all the other videos talked about shot count of the Sig's they made it sound like each 8 shot rotary end was a separate mag and you only four mags or 32 shots out of a single CO2 cartridge, i wanted above 400 fps and 60+ shots so i sacrificed the blowback and went with something that has the FPS and shot count but is other wise really boring, had they been more clear like you were about the total shot count i would have bought a Sig, i'm going to really miss not having blowback ......

I bought and new box of CO 2 cylinders but the leaks continues. I live in Canada and bought the Sig here at Cabelas. They could not help me , just to phone Sig USA. I did but they referred me to MD Charlton here in Canada. I have not heard anything from anyone so far about anything to help me out. Cabelas does not help, Sig does not help, MD Charlton does not reply, apparently they do not stand behind their product and I am very disappointed that this nice gun only lasted 14 CO 2 cartridges. It's simply the O ring that seals the co2. You should buy some O rings and silicon. Replace the 0 ring and add silicon and it should be okay for another load of co2. It happens because the co2 freezes the rubber seals and cracks them

14:36 Unfortunately there is NO pellet pistol in existence that locks back after last round fired because hollow pellets can not be stacked vertically like BBs and bullets, which allows the mechanical follower to engage the slide lock when the magazine is empty. All pellet pistols rely on a rotary mechanism, like a revolver, which cannot be used to engage the slide lock.

excellent review! i have the Sig Sauer P250 ASP, which was released alongside the P226 that is reviewed in this video. i kept the packaging because the original muzzle velocity claims for these two air pistols were printed on the packaging, and in the manual. the P250 ASP was rated up to 500 fps, and the P226 ASP was rated up to 510 fps. These greatly inflated power claims had kept these first "Sig Air" pellet pistols from being imported into Canada, which is where I am located. i got lucky and found a seller from Louisiana on Amazon who sold me the ODG two tone P250 ASP and shipped it to me. I expect that eventually the P250 ASP will become the most collectable of all the "Sig Air" Action Sport Pellet Co2 replica pistols, especially if the packaging with those inflated muzzle velocity claims was kept with the co2 pistol. the P250 ASP was discontinued and replaced by the P320 ASP. Thanks for making so many great airgun review videos!
