Know what the hilarious part is? Max0r calling Nero’s mechanical arms (AKA Devil Breakers) “vibrators” isn’t ACTUALLY that incorrect. Because there’s a DLC Devil Breaker which is pretty much exactly that, called the “Sweet Surrender”.🤣 Yes, really. From the wiki and the actual in game text: “Here. For those hard-to-reach itches. Kyrie'll love it! Catch my meaning?” -NICO *Sweet* *Surrender* A Devil Breaker created by Nico to relieve Kyrie's tension. Nero is too rough to do the job without hurting Kyrie, so this device is made of soft materials. Its vibration feature is especially effective at alleviating shoulder and hip pain. 🤣😂🤣😂 Just for anyone curious, it gives a constant passive regeneration as a mechanical benefit.

interesting fact, DMC V has a manga called "visions of V" which is basically a directors cut and just really damn good and makes you wish they kept a lot of the cut content in the game because damn does it add a lot of extra themes and gives new meaning to a lot of the main story along with making V as an entity that much more interesting. I really can't give it more praise its just a fantastic piece of tie in material.

One of this game's accompanying manga actually reveals that...and I kid you not... everything about how Vergil turned out, is all because he just wanted to read that book the day his family was attacked. For everything that happened afterwards, and it's all because Vergil just wanted to read a book. 14:15 Because of how Vergil likes books, it is quite the shame the player is obliged to destroy the city library in that part- both for currency and to clear room to fight the Death Scissors. :\ 14:50 That's sadly true. For how cool Lady was in DMC3, in 5 she has no importance whatsoever; she's just involved because it'd be natural she'd tag along same as Trish, but Lady is more or less a prop in the plot and to give an excuse for Dante to use her weapon later. I can't wait to see the Part 2; it gets *wild*. xD

So the thing about the tree and the climbing of it, the thing literally grows up into the outer atmosphere of the Earth. You're vastly underestimating just how big it is if you think it would even be reasonable to just climb it. Hence the excuse of the elevators to save time by implying a crossing of great distance in seconds.

DMC5 has done the impossible and managed to be an all around great successor to a legacy franchise. It even holds its own against the nostalgia of the previous gold standard of the franchise, DMC3. It's a love letter to the series, clearly made by fans for fans. The gameplay is everything great about previous games refined and polished, with only little upgrades here and there, never trying to "fix what ain't broke". The story, cast and even minor background aspects draw from _all_ the corners of the franchise, bringing together _many_ narrative threads (seriously, _everything_ calls back to something established previously, but in a way that makes sense). It finds the perfect balance between serious and campy. And it brings it together to be just all around fun, with no part feeling criminally tedious or punishing, while still offering a challenge (well, SDT is absolutely broken on low difficulties, but that's just fair). They even successfully brought in aspects from the "meh" anime adaptation and the universally hated reboot attempt. I really recommend playing it, even if you're not too confident with these games. "Human" difficulty exists for a reason and it's fun enough that even if you have to dark souls your way through an encounter or two, it'll still be worth it. The deeper mechanics for each characters are something I only really started figuring out and abusing some 3 difficulty levels further in. At the start you can just get by with the basics: V stays out of range and juggles his minions until his DT is up and Nightmare can smash; Nero slashes things and keeps moving with his grapple, throwing in some extra utility with his arm; and for Dante you try out which weapon works best on which enemy and you're usually good ("fast vs fast, slow vs slow" is a good rule of thumb). Oh, btw.: At 6:06 That's not an edit, but his account name. The game has a feature where you can sometimes see other players playing through parallel levels with different characters. In those cases they will be credited by the game as such a "starring" notification in your gameplay, sporting the icon of the respective character. In the instance in the video, you can see Dante's first fight against Urizen during Mission 10 through the doors, which happened at the same time as the Prologue. In other cases they may be off to the side, fighting up parallel routes to your own, even sometimes indirectly affect your path by clearing certain obstacles - and in two cases you can join up if you time it right. If there's no other player currently playing that level, it may show you recording of your last playthrough on that level, those of other players you have seen before or the stock replay credited as "Starring: The DMC Team".

MaxOr's video got me into dmc5 amd it's my first in the serier. Was absolutely bad at it because I never really played anything like it so first play through was on easy and I still enjoyed it. Doing it again but on vergil and my god he's the most fun to play
