9:46, Cell being a good neighbor (and and otherwise relatively normal person) is what Frieza is referring to. To Frieza, this behavior is shamefully surrendering to his situation but to Cell, it’s out of basic humility since he’s no longer sees the point in acting like a god when he isn’t one in the grand scheme of things (a lesson Raditz learned before him). Of course, Cell of all people would see Frieza for the immature and stubborn egotist he really is, being that they share various traits (even down to the genetic level) and is both patient and assertive enough to rationally refute his delusions of grandeur, criticize his refusal to admit the full extent of his father’s indirect hold over him and disengages rather than retaliate him when Frieza refuses to listen and attempts to mock his lacking a father (something he actually seems to be sensitive on), demonstrating a particular degree of emotional intelligence and maturity that Frieza lacks. In a way Cell handled the situation “perfectly”.

Have to admit, the inclusion of DevilArtemis really did TFS well. Some would say they should continue the abridged series, BUT they don't realize the potential HFIL brings. Especially after THIS episode specifically. As a result of this change of content style, they could make a ton of original arcs. Without relying on the source footage. HFIL being the first arc to "test the waters" Next they could very well create their own unique spin on the BOJACK special. Same could go with the Buu saga, they could make it... BUT in a new format allowing for the ultimate in comedy. They could also make original specials like one involving their Xenoverse characters *Dumplin & Puddin*. All they would need is to port the models from the PC version, make adjustments and BAM. Another special they could do could be in a line of What If universes. Including my favorite and possibly most... Revelation F. Imagine a complete animated special of that audio drama. Ooo maybe even as a tie in to post HFIL Having a multiversal tournament that pits Frieza against Captain F, evil vs lesser Evil. Later being voiced by MasakoX, while former would still be Martin.

with you mentioning what could happen in the leadup to the Other World Tournament, it reminds me of the episode we had before it starts. Goku meeting up with Pikkon, and they come down to HFIL in order to put away all the villains that decided to start an uprising. we have been getting vibes from Cold that he is indeed planning a prison break while posing as management. quite likely we're gonna see that take place before they get stopped

But what if the 'uprising' is just a sibling squabble between Frieza and Cooler gotten WAY out of hand that ended up causing so much damage to the surroundings the heroes needed to be called in to MAKE THEM STOP. Honestly, that would be way funnier. Especially if Cell is just sitting on the sidelines eating popcorn (or the HIFL equivalent) while the Ginyus run commentary with the excuse, if anyone asks why he isn't doing anything to help stop the fight, that it's the most entertaining thing to happen in HIFL since he died and, anyways, he's an inmate and it's not his JOB to wrangle unruly prisoners. That duty falls on management and the ogres....and they NEVER asked for help from the other inmates, so...not his problem. I'd watch that episode...and giggle all throughout. There would be much giggling.

Apart from when he was showing off to Kibito, I thought Gohan only goes Super as an adult if he isn’t Mystic/Ultimate (or Beast). 17:13 Spells out GEVO (or HEVN, but considering who it is that likely installed the system based on the logo that comes up afterwards, that’s a pretty big stretch by comparison), one of two biological sons of Dr. Gero and Vomi (the basis for Android 21’s default physical design), the uncle of Dr. Hedo, and the basis for Android 16’s physical design. 18:24 Pretty low. The Otherworld Tournament arc was established in I think Episode 5, the prank wars episode. Pikkon had the Janemba movie. 19:10 Cooler is now voiced by Connor McKinley aka SenileSnake online who also voiced Paragus in the Broly movie. If Gero does show up in the story, he’ll probably get the same treatment given how similar Connor’s and Chris Guerrero’s cadences are.

Technically I don't think Cell was ever actually created to kill Goku. Per Gero's plans, Goku would be long dead by the time Cell ever awoke, killed by the Androids. Afterall, Cell's very design requires the Androids, which would be counterproductive if he was a Plan B for if the Androids lost.

Even if that was the purpose for his creation, killing Goku was just a step along the way to a bigger goal for him: attaining perfection and becoming the strongest there is. Gohan dashed that dream however and Cell can’t top that now that he’s dead and limited so for now he may as well make the most of his time until he can come back to life and achieve that “Super-Duper Saiyan” power, maybe even go beyond.

Cell might not make it all the way to Heaven, but considering how he, the Ginyu's, Raditz, Zarbon, and Dodoria all seem to be at least trying to at least be somewhat better, they'll probably at least make a less awful HFIL, since there are multiple HFILs I imagine some are better than others, like the one we're in right now is pretty obviously the worst one, the others probably have some minor improvements that make it at least somewhat better to live in. Like down in this one, they only have movie sequels and only the bad ones, so I imagine some better HFILs have not really good movies but at least not outwrite terrible ones so you might find some enjoyment in them or they'll just be boring which is still better than being terrible. The good ones are obviously reserved for Heaven. Everyone else down here has resigned themselves to their fate and are just trying to make the best of it, but like Freeza said he doesn't compromise, and because of that like Cell said he is slowly losing control of his followers down here and suffering far worst than anyone else down here.
