Airline Pilot Bidding Short Take

Hi Darren. I know you say you love the PMDG777 but strongly dislike the underlying MSFS. Is this why? Yesterday, I was flying a 777-300ER and my performance calculation gave me VR of 145kts (I was very light) and a trim setting of 4.75 units using D-TO2 and 44C. Ok so I set that and later begin the takeoff roll. I only feel the main gears lifting off the ground at close to 170kts. Then the aircraft almost tail strikes before ballooning to 20 degrees nose up. Landing is even more frustrating. So I am carefully monitoring the speed that a configuration can hold (I learned that from another one of your vids). I also determined my VREF+5 is 144kts at flaps 25. So as I configure down to flaps 25, the red stall area goes well up to 160kts (well above vref). And I also get yellow stick shakers up to almost 170 kts. I can’t fly anywhere close to the CALCULATED VREF+5 without stalling. Why do you think that is? Is it me doing something wrong on my end or MSFS being awful.

I can’t talk about airline (you mentioned an airline directly) specific stuff online. I have a video about non rev. This might seem odd but it’s what I have to do.

I got complacent and bored with the Airbus. It was either upgrade to Captain or long haul. Long haul won. Thank you for your support.
