We currently have a post at the San francisco Golden Gate Bridge, many who seek to end their life have been helped, they saw us and ran the other way… hehehe Anyway, I am a student pilot and enjoy your vlogs about your life as a pilot.

Darren, PHOG RWY 2, does the 777 take the full length to land? Just curious based on size since A321 on HAL almost always take full length to stop. Looked like you were on the Kihei side of the island. Enjoy the holidays and safe flying.

Arrived in a 787. The Captain I was with flies the 777 often to OGG and can make Foxtrot no issue but normally rolls to the end for passenger comfort and brake savings. The 777 has much better landing performance than the 321. I’ve been very impressed.

It’s very dynamic. Many don’t ever leave the 777 FO seat. I flew to Maui this week. The FO can be a line holding 777 Captain.

It’s part of the industry. It’s not just the flight crews, it’s the ticket/gate agents, mechanics, ramp workers, fuelers, TSA, ATC. Have a safe and Merry Christmas!!

So the decision to "not extend" is probably due to the pilot thinking that he/she would be to tired at some point to comfortably make the entire scheduled flight?

I work at SEA, and the JW people hold the same signs are in the same spot every day. At least here, they remain in our designated “first amendment activities” area. It can be insanely cold since their spot in the skybridges from parking lot to terminal are basically a few degrees above outside temp, but they’ll just bundle up more. The nice thing is that they’re all very good with customer service and answering passenger questions, so that’s cool.
