Hi Darren. Having a great time in Seoul. The outbound DFW ICN was brutal 1/27 ; almost 16 hrs flying time just some moderate chop over the Aleutian Islands . The crew was fun. We now serve Lime La Croix. Upgraded to J on the way back Friday. Why the 777-200 ? Do you fly the 77W? Or 787s ever ? Why not ?

I would suggest checking out the Pittsburgh Auto Show, Feb 14-17. We have had better luck seeing vehicles that we were interested in there compared to Washington DC.

Interesting film Darren, and what a shame the Detroit show is now what it is. I used to go quite regularly for my work and it certainly was like nothing else round the world, really glitzy and some interesting concepts (although really cold!). But I think you’re right; there are now other ways for the car companies to showcase their products rather than an expensive show.

I know the ATC will do their best so you guys avoid the airspace and you yourselves will also do your best to avoid the airspace. But what if, WHAT IF you guys do enter North Korean airspace? Do you guys brief for that kind of thing or is there a procedure for that kind of thing?

Nice video about the car show experience. This is pretty much the same feeling I got at the Dallas Motorcycle Show the last time I went (I'm about two hours east, easy drive to the Dallas convention center)... Its just not the same anymore.

Agreed, that the DTW LH lounge is awful. They're getting a flat fee from Priority Pass, so really no motivation to have a decent food spread when the lounge doesn't have any customers for their flights.
