I have a 99 Dodge Ram 1500 that doesn't like to start up first turn of the key, but it always does on the second turn. Also, I was driving home on night and the engine just shut off. All the electrical stayed on but there was no engine. Just before it shut off, at a turn the truck didn't have any throttle response for a little bit. It gain it back tho in a big jerk. If you could help me, that would be great. I do plan on taking it in to have a professional look at it tho.

You forgot to mention the hose that is labeled "NOT REPAIRABLE" at the top back of the tank. It just pulls off and has no clamps, but was a surprise. Had I not been paying attention, I would have been paying BIG BUCKS to replace this.

No, This truck is a gasoline engine. It only has the one pump in the tank.

Shawn Jerome, it would be nice, but at times, rather boring, as the flat rate time for this job is 1.8 hours without draining or cleaning the fuel tank. Our goal is to show the primary steps of the installation. I do hope the video was a help.

You could check the VIN online, it may tell you the tank size or contact your dealer with the VIN to see if they can tell you what tank size the truck has.

VIN - vehicle Identification number. Every vehicle produced is assigned a unique serial number, the VIN. The VIN identifies the car as to what year, make, model, country of origin, it allows a dealer to determine what options were on the car at time of assembly. Options like how many gallon tank it has.
