So let me get the facts straight. Your mom and dad are upset that a Disney employee told your mom that he was cheating, and instead of getting mad at the husband, she decided to get mad at the employee and just say Disney ruined her marriage when it was in fact her husband? Moms a pushover and dads a cheating loser. And the way they talked to Op and tried to gaslight them for wanting to spend time with their family is insane. she's angry at Disney land for ruining her happy marriage delusion like people who are angry at the person that told them their spouse is cheating
@tamarasmith9060 Жыл бұрын
This kind of irrational response is why there's the phrase "Don't shoot the messenger." And in this case, they aren't even hating the messenger, they're hating the messenger's employer which had no involvement into the situation at all. The Disney employee just acted as a concerned person who happened upon private info that might be important. It may have been that the couple had an open marriage, but if that wasn't the case then the wife deserved to know because even in those days it was pretty public knowledge about certain STDs. Therefore a partner cheating isn't just being callous to the emotional wellbeing of the one they're cheating on, they can literally be taking risks with their health/life.

You have to keep in mind that Disneyland is more geared to daily visitors who come often unlike Disneyworld where a family travels a long distance and stays there for a week and doesn't come back for several years. A Boycott starts with one person and goes from there just ask Bud Light LOLOLOLOL. Disney is facing their hardest times ever for their wokeness which they deserve by breaking Basic Business 101 practices, NEVER mix your business with politics. Just a couple of years ago Disney stock was worth over $200, currently, it is worth $81.00 and STILL DROPPING. I would imagine much more drop and someone(s) will swoop in and do a takeover of Disney because the stock value has to be getting close to the value of all of Disney properties including their intellectual ones such as Star Wars, Marvel, ABC, ESPN, etc.

Story 1: What gets me about the parents in this story is that, when she told them about going to Disney, the mom didn't even try to talk to her rationally. She didn't calmly explain why she didn't want her to do that or anyting, she just immediately jumped from 0 to 100 and threatened disownment. I think that Op's childhood isn't as normal as she's remembering. Normal rational people don't act that way. Post update edit: Wow. I mean at least there's a little bit of a reason, but that doesn't excuse their attitudes or actions towards their own daughter. It's obvious that mother is either delusional or desperate. I can't think of a good excuse for the father. He was the one at fault, and I can't even imagine why anyone would think it was a good idea to insult their own child like that. That really sucked when the hotel wouldn’t give the phone back, but that’s no excuse to force others in the family to not go for a good time. OP doesn’t have to listen to their BS anymore and what matters is her daughter’s happiness since she sounded so ecstatic to go. Dad and mom were way out of line with their hateful words and calls, and that should be the time to cut them off since they can’t get rid of their grudge over that and are taking their anger out on her. Fuck them in my opinion. I’m glad she told them off, and went anyway. Her daughter will enjoy every second of it.

You've got a great sense of humor and it's fun hearing your thoughts on bizarre situations the world sometimes throws at the human race. I getchu on feeling anxious putting yourself out there but you've gotten plenty of followers basically reacting to reddit stories. I don't think people who enjoy listening to you anyway are going to have their faces melt off Indiana Jones style because you're showing your face during it lol. If you wanna go for it and can have fun with that, no reason why not.

@Markee Didn’t you used to have your face in your videos, or am I going mad? Anyway, I, personally, am not a fan of reaction videos. But, I’m open to seeing you do different content. I suggest you release your previous reaction video and see how it does. Good luck no matter what you choose.

Dad cheats so mom blames the woman who TELLS her. Wtf misogyny ftw

I do love reaction channels! And if you're not comfortable with facecam, I think audio-only can still be fine for reactions as long as a person is talkative and obvious in how they react through voice alone.

Wait.... The dad lost his phone at Disney land and as a result, no one else can go?!? What the actual F**k?!? I was expecting that someone died or there was an accident or something but nope! Dad was careless and forgot his phone. Now because of that, their daughter, grand daughter and son in law can't go to to Disney. NTA and if I were OP, I would keep the kids away from the crazy grand parents After edit: Yea.... OP should definately keep her kids away from her patents. They are unhinged

Story 1: Yeah I'm will the op on them not talking to them ever again. Holy shit those people are fucking insane glad Op appears to have somehow grown up sane with those crazy assholes.

Story 1. Nta. I mean I myself do not like Disney World and I would never go there however I'm sure in the hell not going to stop any of my kids from going if they want to take their families. Let alone cut contact with them and disinherit them. 🙄 Edit well I guess we finally know the real reason hold daddy can't keep it in his pants and he got how did they made from Disney World. He was flipping out to keep it a secret all this time but it only took a maid to bring him down. 😂😂😂😂

Omg lmao this hit me. My mother Unhinged Hippie was so extremely anti Disney and I always assumed it was because she was arrogantly counter culture. No, it was my older sister who wasn't the golden child per se but was Unhinged Hippie's emotional support animal and designated parent had gotten upset when watching Bambi! Edit this happened because Unhinged Hippie was unable to emotionally regulate so anyone else in distress sent her into a ragey tailspin. The dumpster fire was intense

Story 1 - OP's family sounds unhinged! Trying to force their feud against Disney to continue down through the generations, and threatening to disown OP if she takes her daughter there? I hope they realize that NC with their daughter also means NC with their granddaughter and soon-to-be grandson! Update - So now we learn that their eternal hatred for Disney was because an employee outed the father for cheating on his wife. And THIS is given as a reason that OP is not "allowed" to go there or take her kids?! And all the verbal abuse and getting other family members to gang up on their side. God, these people!

Don’t ask Markee just do it. The content we want is the content you enjoy. Views may drop but what matters is you enjoy what you’re doing.

OP1’s parents - more projection than Disney movies in cinemas around the world. (If mom wasn’t a rug sweeping loon, she’d know the Disney employee did her such a solid and she could have embraced some Elsa energy and lost loser hubby.)

Markee you knocked it out of the park with this video. These stories were more than dumpster fires lol. Find more of these lol, I need your commentary (you bursting out laughing was gold)

That Disney story is like something straight out of a sitcom. 😂

Who wants to bet that another story that involves anything Disney related, Markee is going to immediately mention the story?!😂

Like how he kept mentioning the mom dressing like the daughter to screw her husband [the moms husband/daughter's father] and how op walked in on it since they were in the living room

LOL this is one of the craziest episodes you've ever read. Your incredulous reactions to the crazy are hilarious, BTW. I like listening to you a lot and you don't need to be "on camera" to be entertaining. Don't commit to something that is going to set off your anxiety, it's not worth it.

I knew there was no way the parents were upset about a “phone”.

yeah, the cheating didnt ruin the relationship. the mom being told about the cheating js what ruined it. thats a grudge, not trauma 😂 also unless op is forcing her parents to go, they shouldnt care. the family sounds incredibly toxic. i love how OP dealt with it
