Its very emotional moment for me ... as Im a big follower of Pt JI and Indian classical music.. I learn from my Guruji who is a deciple of Ustad Rashid khan .. and Im very fortunate ..But I have always prayed and worshiped Pt Ajoy ji as my own Guru.. I cant express in words what he means to me.. My dream to learn in Shurinandan is still dream,, I dont know whether I will ever get a chance to learn from Him.. Im sort of words.. Interestingly in the entire film, there is no mention about any of his successful vocal students except Kaushiki Ma’m. I doubt are thare any? Got reference of some instrumental students only. It is really a pity that after teaching thousands of vocal students for at least 30 years in Shrutinandan, Panditjee couldn’t find a single eligible student to showcase in his biopic. Otherwise a good film indeed.
