When I try to loosen the wing nut it keeps spinning around. I noticed your video just happened to skip that part a bit. Did you have to hold the wheel in place while loosening the wing nut or something else?

Yes you are also right. HHH100 pointed out that these are Korean made and I did a bit more research and it is actually a Korean made AK47 drum...

i need the whole inside metal assembly where do i get it ??

You won't likely find spare parts for these. The service method at least for us consumers is to toss the whole thing.

What about the giant coiled spring ? Cant put mines back in
@RELOADINGandSHOOTING10 жыл бұрын
so sorry for the late reply... I have no idea how to get the spring coiled back into the circular housing because I don't know how much tension it has. You probably have to wear a thick leather gloves and try to force it back in the housing. But if you manage to get it back in, please let us know... sorry again for the mishaps...

You're welcome. No harm done. But try to snag an original 75 rd. Chinese drum. They work flawlessly. They're around, but pricey. About $300 these days. Prices will only rise more as time goes by. The rarer Chinese 100 rd. drums are approaching $500 now.

Towards the very end of the video, you can see text on the key to put tension on the spring. I am only aware of post-ban Romanian copies of the Chinese drums being marked in such a manner. The triangle 36 and oval 9396 are common markings on Chinese drums but there are other arsenal markings.

Great video! You make better vids than most on KZbin. Can't stand when they put noise (so called music) into their videos. Anyway just an observation: Are you sure that drum is original Chinese military? Because normally the Chinese drums imported in the mid 90's do not have any quality problems like you mentioned with the last rounds feeding. You can tell a genuine Chinese by the 9396 or 36 in a triangle or oval stamped into the metal lid on the 75 rounders...

What if your drum keeps winding
@RELOADINGandSHOOTING5 жыл бұрын
xxP1ST0LER0xx hey bro! That means you didn’t install the spring correctly and or it came off of of the slot that holds the spring in place. Open it up and check the parts to make sure nothing broke. Email me if you have other questions. Good luck!

Disassemble it and make sure the metal pin slot was inserted correctly to the metal coil. Follow my video on the assembly portion.

Sorry I didn't see your comment. This is actually a Korean made AK47 drum, sorry for the mistake. LoL I actually had music on this video before but I removed it per my subscribers request. Thanks for the correction...

mine loses tension after a few dozen rds. wtf?
@RELOADINGandSHOOTING8 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately these drums are not Heavy Duty and it does looses tension compare to the Romanian, Russian and or Chinese made heavy duty built for military use. That's the reason why I never turn anymore than 1 turn for storage. When I shoot out in the range, I turn it 12 times and it shoots out all ammo out of the drum with new issues...

RELOADINGandSHOOTING i have the romanian kind 😁

+John Kennedy just add another couple of turns haha😎 but I would not store the drum with a lot of tension... Good luck!👍🏼

Yes, great eye. These Romanian copies of the 75 rd. Chinese drums say "made in Romania" on the winding key. Stay away from these inferior drums. Only the original military Chinese originals imported in the 90's work flawlessly and are built for combat use.
