haven’t done much to mine beyond putting double sided tape in the space bar. it’s well stabilised and sounds fine stock, but the foam tape helps reduce the hollow ping when clicked.

Got this keyboard (with gift switches) from amazon for 29USD and it has been my daily driver ever since. It sounds and feels great for only doing the tape mod, re-lubing stabs and changing the keycaps (red samurai).

@@thoccnology Yup! I can't pass up on that price so I immediately grabbed it. As stock it is already good but after doing some mods, the look, sound and feel elevated more. Plus I also got the Red Samurai clones (151 keys) for like 10 USD so this is a great combo I must say.

Hey! Tape mod is one of the simplest mods. You open the keyboard case and apply 1-3 layers of painter's tape onto the bottom side of the PCB. :) Feel free to check out my detailed review, where I show this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jIrSgadtrKeSrqc Switch lubing is when you remove the switches from the keyboard, open them and apply lube on the specific tiny parts (usually the housing, and stem rails, and springs)

i have this keyboard stock and its really good, but for me, when i open mt space bar with the keycao puller, it pulls out a part of the spacebae with it...

It seems like the plate is too loosely cut in your unit! Try taking out the spacebar stabilizer, and inserting a small cut of bandaid into the loose half's hole on the plate. It'll fix the gap and it'll sit tighter.

Happy to hear this! Tape mod can be easily removed, so I'd say it's worth a try. Regarding lubing you can try lubing only 1 switch and compare to the others - if you like the unlubed better, it's great, because you can save time :D
