FANTASTIC VIDEO!!! I just received my AKG 702 and couldn't figure out how to plug the cable into the headphones. It wouldn't go in easily and I didn't want to force it and risk damaging something. Your detailed explanation and demonstration of how to plug in the cable was EXTREMELY helpful. Thank you. I agree that the cable is much too long. Can you recommend a shorter cable that is compatible with these headphones? Thanks again!!! 🌟🌟🌟

I just found one on sale for 138. I'm having a difficult time deciding on keeping these or just returning them and getting what I actually want, the Sennheiser hd 600. The k702 does have some detail, are pretty flat, so that's not bad. The part that really gets me is barely present low end frequencies or bass. It might as well be gone and I'm not even a bass heavy person. I prefer the bass on something like an hd 600. The k702 sounds very lifeless with music, any type of music. I would recommend staying away from these for music enjoyment. The redeeming part I'm discovering is games. This may be a good performer in games. Honestly though, I think I like my Sennheiser hd 595 better than the k702. These also feel super cheap and really can't shake the fact the cheapness bleeds into the quality of the sound in the end. I cannot shake that feeling. For me, the allure of the akg k702 and it's brothers sisters is gone, it's dead. These do not feel like a headphone i would feel good about keeping and using on a regular basis. I don't see it happening. Though these are so comfortable, like amazingly comfortable. Unfortunate really. I'm probably going to return these once I put them side to side with the hd 600 soon. In summary, the k702 feels too cheap. I'm so borderline about it's performance that I feel no urge to keep them. These headphones, or at least this version made in china, does not convince me at all. I'm going back to my hd 600's and that's that.

Unless you're into mixing and mastering tracks, forget about using these as your all round headphones. They are intended a studio work only. I love using these K702 for my mixing.

​@no2thenwo737 thank you for the perspective as I was debating about getting these as I want to get into mixing and mastering but already bought the Sennheiser HD6xx. Can't really find a reason to justify this over that

Thank god they come with a quarter inch adapter, the 900 other ones I have just aren't enough
