I grew up watching Dragon ball, into DBZ, and once Vegeta became a recurring character he immediately became my favorite while others fanboyd over Goku. I hope they bring Turles into the universe as a Canon character

I agree with you about Vegeta a lot of people really over look how Vegeta has changed. They constantly say that he's regressed & that's not true this dude went from someone who didn't care about anyone to someone who has a family

Vegeta is destined to fail. He doesnt have what Goku has. He is only influenced by Goku and thats why he has that great character development. But ultimately no, he doesnt hate Vegeta but he fills the role Toriyama designed him for.

How am I just finding you. You are absolutely my Black Bulma! Now that that's out of the way, I still feel like Vegeta gets the shaft, but at the same time, I think all characters who aren't goku get the shaft. In the original Dragonball series, each character was given their due respect. You had Yamcha coming in like he was in the edit, same with Tien. They were challenges for Goku to overcome. But once they changed sides, they got no spot light. The Humans were so weak that they are literally jokes in the series. For example, the nail in the coffin for me was when Krillin asked Goku to punch him. Goku hit bro so hard he had to use Instant Transmission to catch up to him. Every arc now is Goku coming to save the day. Oh, there's a destroyer god? Goku will beat him. Oh, Freeza's back??? Goku will beat him. Goku black??? (well zeno button) but Trunks said, let me go get Goku! (You know what, I'm now gonna rant on that.) Akira Toriyama clearaly has a favorite and that is Goku.
