Been listening to and admiring Mr Green since the 70's ..was lucky enough to see him perform at the famed Sugar Shack in Boston .He's definitely one of the greatest story tellers ever...range and control are incomparable..back up musicians, especially the horn section, are equally unparalleled...I occasionally KZbin one of his performances of "Belle" sung on a show in Japan ..the lyrics and his performance still brings tears....Thank you kindly for your music..It will live on forever..

The last time I saw Al Green was at Constitution Hall In Washington DC. He was there with Stephanie Mills. What a show. Every song sounds as good as the first day it came out. I wonder if we will ever have this kind of talent again.
