As a musician, it’s similar to playing guitar. You might be able to play the most intricate solos from other people, and be the best shredder and play every yngwie malmsteen song, but can you write a song or a hook that people want to listen to? Can you start small and slowly progress to that big ending, that big payoff that keeps the listener engaged? Or are you just doing a 3 minute shred fest? It’s cool and all, it takes talent and a lot of hard work, im not saying it’s easy. But at some point it’s like ok well there’s no substance, nothing to grasp onto. And yes, I know there’s a market for that, again I’m not saying that won’t get you anywhere, but there is a cap on how far you’ll go as far as audience reach. If you’re ok with that then more power to you, but don’t think you can be the next Beatles just because you can play a minor pentatonic scale faster than everybody else. Just my opinion.

When it is nothing but flippy and dangerous shit, I just can't get into it. I look at PRO WRESTLING from the mindset of an old school street fighter and I've never once climbed up on a car to do a 450 splash in the middle of a fight. When I hear and read guys like Reigns, etc do nothing but punch and kick and I'm like um yeah, that's what you do in a fight. I'm against WWE not allowing blood also, so it's not just the indy crap. I think they need blood in cage matches etc. I'll take the stories over the "great" in ring crap any day
